Definitely the best of the series (Takedown a close second). Paradise just had too much faffing; having to drive to a map location to start an event wasn't much fun at all. Neither was having to repeat the same events over and over again as they are reset for every license.

In Revenge the events are, as this reviewer puts it, 'compartmentalised', which just makes it so much easier to navigate through the events and to track progress. Races and time trials are tough but fair.

Revenge is my favorite of the series, Paradise is good, but online almost no matter where you are, do to ping lag, you hit a guy and then 10 seconds later finally feels it, and no crash mode, and I got bored of it. Split-screen tournies is where it's at ;)

Revenge has great graphic themse even on an older console like a ps2 (which I have) love the darkness of it. Plus the old school Burnout game play.

Now imagine making an old school burnout with crash and set courses

This was a big joke compared to the great 3rd part. You can just slam the oncoming traffic. Are they serious? It´s a fun game, but the whole "Burnout-Feeling" was blown away. Instead of that i could just look out of my window and blow those cars in a takedown. Only with my breath of course, because its so easy now. But i still like it...maybe just because its Burnout, but who cares ;-)

Takedown and Revenge are the best, better than Paradise. You go faster, drift harder, drive more aggressive and get a better adenaline high than Paradise. I love how you can hold the turbo thru the whole race, especially going thru hard turns and curves without letting it go which you can't do in Paradise.

@lasarousi I have the PS2 version and Xbox 360 version, and I say yes is a huge difference in graphics, the graphics of the Xbox 360 version are much better, more realistic colors, better textures, and the fact that HD which improves much the graphics, but the video is blurry. and this is why you saw no difference, but live you will see that the difference is big.
