Sounds Great! I did this with my lightning before I put the new exhaust on. I ended up fowling a plug on the third time I fired it up with the header open. Oh well. The aren't so bad to change when you have the right tools. The sound was worth it!

I wouldnt be so fst to do it...if i would of known the effects of doing it i would of never thought of it. Buells are fuel injected so they have an o2 sensor and when i took the muffle off it threw things all out of wack and ended up fouling a plug. Not fun to change buell puts them in before they put the motor in:)
if you tune em right will they run fine with straights?

Get it fuel mapped to accomodate the fact there is no endcan on it. It'd be nice to hear that roar past without fouling any plugs :) :)
