  • Thanks! Now I don't have to carry 3ft of cable in my pocket... but it's still there if I need it.

  • Thanks, but actually, I think I would rather use a twist tie- easier to undo if I need it longer, plus I don't want to tie a electrical cord or any kind like it were shoelaces, just in case that might do something to it.

  • Marry me O.o haha. Kidding. Thanks bro.

  • whats going on?

  • this gotta be bad for your cables lol

  • THANKS A BUNCH! I was using a twist tie, but this looks MUCH neater.

  • I tried that prior to watching this vid but it messed up my wire and now the sounds gone all funny :(

  • Is that the hangman noose? Looks very similar o.0

  • CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THE VIDEO YOU FRUSTRATING MAN

  • good idea, but terrible idea for audio leads, it will end up with frequency interruptions and static

  • So simple and perfect. You just made my day!

  • i was thinking just use a rubber band but this works too.

  • Dude thats bad

  • Wow. Don't do this to your cords if you want them to last.

  • Good method, but did anybody else notice that this is strangely similar to tying a hangman's noose?

  • thanx man, it worked so well.....i no the vid doesnt really explain too much but i just bout managed to realise what you did then tie it up at the end lol...thanx :)

  • omg I can't see anything.

  • This is one of the worst videos ive ever seen

  • can you please explain how to do it ? i really want to do this

  • thanks dude it works!

  • Looks like an awesome way to shorten my uber long headphones cord, but it's kinda dark to see what you're doing and the article is gone :( Explain please?

  • too fast, hands in the way=useless vid

  • Only problem is, with how hard you're pulling on the wire you are stretching it causing damage to the copper inside. Eventually it would cause a break in the wire rendering it useless. Maybe if you didn't wrap it so tight.

  • seems like it puts a lot of stress on the wire.

  • I checked the article but it doesn't work. I can't see what you're doing so can you please help me?

  • why did u do this?

  • dude. i got it right. very useful thanks.

  • wow, a positive response? This can't be right...

  • @inspecterj I got it too, TY!

  • The out come is very good.

shame all i seen was ur hands and not how to make the knot ¬_¬

  • couldn't really see anything, but the sound was really cool.

  • its a basic fisherman's knot also the same basic way you make a hangman's noose. Be awair tying your electric cords like this can damage the wires inside

  • cant see a damn thing. its too dark and your fingers are totally in the way.

  • Just don't do it with power cables, or you may start a fire.
