Everything gets fancier and flashier. Why can't games like this be realistic? The orginal version featured simple sword dueling, and I liked it, but now everything has to be fiery or made up of endless combos. I also like Bushido Blade 2 because its a simple sword dueling game and is realistic.

It's been a while since I ast played it though, but if I remember well Samurai Shodown 6 includes online mode, but I'm not sure of it, my copy doesn't work anymore.

8 - You can insert, in a single gauge, the abilities of the other games, as rage explosion, null, weapon destroyer and flash strike.

I'm a specialist in SS, played all of them (I even play better than the 2 on this video and more beautifully), and I can say for sure: There is no SS better than SSVI!

5 - the S.C.S turned SSVI a game of waiting the right moment to hit and counter-attack. It's a whole different way to play, much more fun and beautiful (you can even connect super moves in combos). Never more this video ugly gameplay of hit kick countless times and keep dashing back and forth.

6 - S.C.S. balanced the characters, everyone is good and fun to play.

7 - Every character has now 2 super moves (rage full move and desperation move) that can even be connected.

Despite what most people think, this is the best SS released so far. I know they took off fatalities and finishing moves, but look at the good points:

1 - has every warrior that appeared on the 2d series (except for Hikyaku).

2 - 5 new characters.

3 - all bugs from other versions removed. The game is more "tight" now.

4 - the S.C.S. of the edited spirit has evolved the game to a new level. Imagine, free chain combos in SS (not like SSIV gauge combos).

Every normal special move is done the same way. QCF spirit use button. Yes it can be done in any version. But only with iroha when her bar is full. Its a grab Btw.

Lol, because everything has to have male characters for it to be good lol. Granted I'm not saying that there isn't an influx of more female characters but it shouldn't make something "gay" because it has female characters in it. Its all about balance. Honestly tho, SS5 Special is better than 6 so if anything play that or play 3 if you want a more darker game, although competitively SS5 special is better imo.

The funny thing about SS5 Special is that it's the only game in the series that's still not on modern consoles. They didn't even include it in the Anthology. What a way for SNK to tease their fans.

...actually, the US National Anthem is the Star-Spangled Banner. The music in SS6 is the presidential anthem. The reason for that is because it's on Andrew's stage -- he's based on the US president, Andrew Jackson. Just correcting an oversight.
