get involved in your family's grocery shopping! there are plenty of alternatives to meat that taste great, i'm sure if you help your folks with the food shopping and meal preparation they will have no problem with your vegetarianism :) hint: health food ailses & shops are amazing :D you can find so many interesting foods! but enough of my ramblings. good luck!

It's all about alternatives. Perfect subsitution for meat would be tofu, or even beans. They have almost as much protein as beef does, without all the fat, and you know, dead animal. And you could take food that you already eat and make them healthier. Like instead of getting french fries, get sweet potatoe fries. Those are some examples of things that have the same amount of protein.

I changed from meat eater, to vegetarian in one day. Proof that it is not hard to make the turn. It is suprisingly easy.
