  • I miss Bati the giant one. he had such a killer shoot

  • i support liverpool but batistuta is 1 of my all time fav strikers, the guy was simply world class

  • This is wy this man was my idol when i grwe up, the love fore Fiorentina is true, Fioremtima will always be bati s club

  • Omg retards let him alone , he dont want to celebrate ...

  • Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati gooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • No celebration against his former club...what class

  • fabio capello looks happy

  • he seems distraught, damn son

  • Batistuta was a Gigantic Striker in his time. Very loyal, if he went to any of the Megaclubs that wanted him he would have scored maybe 300 goals in his career, his heart was in fiorentina.,cannot be compared to anyone. I am Happy that a player like him finally got his scudetto with Roma in 2001. this is why it is so emotional. big big fan of batistuta, remember how he had tears of joy and sadness after this goal went in...

  • POBRE BATI

  • batty batty batty batty batty batty batty batty batty batty batty batty batty gooooal!!

  • @MultiBulletproof123 Bati Bati, not Batty Batty lol but I like the effort

  • @AzzurroVincerebbero lol, do you not realise that it was delibarate lol.. batty? batty man....never mind

  • @MultiBulletproof123 Oh sry I didnt realize at first

  • first scudetto for the best player name Batistuta..for me batistuta is the best player with a good attitude..

  • bati was by far the best striker of his time even when he was with boca jrs and people used to boo him he did what he had to do and lets stop comparing him with CR7 or MESSI or any of those great brazilians because BATIGOOL has no comparison he was a solid 9 that did wonders inside the box and 5 meters out

  • CHE MOSTRO QUESTO GIOCATORE,,,,,IMPRESSIONANTE

  • bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati bati gool

  • fair play to him not celebrating it coz of it was aginst fiorentina, even if it is a wonder goal !!!!!!!!

  • hes a living legend ... when i see the way he plays ... messi .. ronaldo ... these player look like nothing to me

  • ti na po eisai monadikos

  • we don't see players like him anymore.

  • I think Bati had too much integrity and heart for a sport that has gone down the drain morally speaking. Had he been a sellout player from the beginning like the brazilians getting Nike deals and switching teams every 2 seasons for bigger teams and contracts he would've been way more famous.

  • He's Crying

  • Lo mas grande DENTRO Y FUERA DE LA CANCHA

  • Luis Suarez's idol!

  • batistuta de beste spits van argentinië ooit

  • jajaja re zarpado el comentarista..!!! estaba locooo..!!!

  • Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati Bati

  • PARECE QUE FUERA A LLORAR...no llores bati...

GRANDE IDOLO. LA SELECCION ARGENTINA TE EXTRAÑA

  • It's a shame for him that bati means gay in english! Quality player though

  • @sniktawkram7 "Batty" means gay in Jamaican Patois...not English.

  • look at him he scored an amazing volley and he didn't even show any joy what so ever when the stadio olympico exploded, true player, true striker, true man. There are no more loyal players today in football only money hungry assholes. Serie A allways reminds me of the real players, BATI, ZIDANE, RONALDO, WEAH, DEL PIERO, MARADONA, VAN BASTEN.

  • lol I was in high school with his son and there was a little free kick competition in which you had to pay $2 to participate, his son took part in it as well and so did I. I failed miserably while his son aimed his shot correctly at the high corner of the goal post and stunned everyone.

  • batigol is my idol, dats my dude

  • Remember watching this match ages a go as a kid, Bati was my hero and i totally felt him as he just came to Roma from Fiorentina

  • The commentator name is : Carlo Zampa ... he was AS.Roma commentator back in early of 2000's when ROMA was Kick ASS Team

  • awwww batistuta and totti :(((

  • man, I love him so much. Warrior on the field.

  • i remember when i still watched serie a instead of epl... ronaldo and batistuta were the two biggest rivals for top scorer... they made the whole competition more interesting to watch... ahhh i miss those good old days.

  • asu yg dislike,,

  • he cry ????

  • BATTY BATTY BATTY BATTY BATTY BATTYYY GOAAAL

  • retee batigooll

  • The most painfull goal I have ever seen in my life. A true proffesional. GRANDE BATI. Hail Fiorentina!!

  • bati bati bati bati bati bati goooaaal

  • That's sad...he shouldn't play this match Roma can win without him being playing

  • best # 9 i ever seen!!!

  • @albertosan1984 he was number 18

  • @MagicMadders yes but if you know a little bit about soccer a "number 9" is referred to the stricker player

  • @MagicMadders firstly its called FOOTBALL not soccer, stick to your american football on your side of the pond, I think I know a lot more about football then you, and 9 is not always the strike so shhhhh. dumb america

  • @MagicMadders Actually it's Association Football, and soccer comes from an old nickname for Association, because Rugby Football was widely known as Football throughout Europe. Soccer didn't start in America nor is it limited to America. It's also becoming a more internationally accepted term, so quit being a retard.

  • @MagicMadders Thanks for stating the obvious, still people that don't know about football call it soccer. ie you

  • BATISTUTA WAS A CLASS ACT AND IF YOU WANT TO SEE A SIMILAR VIDEO THEN WATCH HENRIK LARSSON SCORE AGAINST CELTIC(MY CLUB) AND HIS EMOTIONS ON HIS FACE SAY IT ALL,HATED SCORING AGAINST US BUT IT HAD TO BE DONE,GOD BLESS HENRIK LARSSON =D

  • @CapitalBhoy78

i totally agree with you, thank you for a nice reference!

  • ma sai na semplice te..

  • TOOOooo Much passion in them hugs mayn!!! 8-/

  • I love Fiorentina because of Batistuta, Batigol !

  • as a fiorentina fan, this goal makes me happier than any of his fantastic goals with fiorentina

  • @barangatang

    How?

I wasn't angry at him either, but I won't say that it made me happier.

  • Till this day I've yet to see a striker with his abilities. Seriously, just take a look at a video of his skills. The power behind that shot, the precise finishing, the intelligence of last-second decisions.

One of the most creative players to have played the game.

  • best striker ever

  • BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATI BATIGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Bati un Classico!

  • I miss you Bati...

  • missing your goal batistuta...

  • GRANDE BATIGOL

  • i feel so happy to have seen in my life players like him....

he scored for he's job.....he cried for the team he loved.....

  • Comment removed

  • My god ! The sheer class, and genius of this man is UNBELIEVABLE !!...easily, one of the best strikers to have ever graced the beautiful game...BATIGoal forever :D

  • quelli erano tempi...

  • stronzo

  • @recruitmentch did you call bati stronzo??one of the best strikers born ever??take it back...asshole...

  • Ti voglio bene Batistuta.......sei grande

  • this guy is amazing, he felt guilty

  • one of the best strikers to ever grace this beautiful game

  • (L)

  • de ce nu mai joaca????((((((((

  • i was watching this game when he scored. I may now say Messi is my fav, but my favorite player of all time is Bati. I cried when he said he retired from international duty. Right after World Cup 2002 :( i loved when it was him, crespo, veron, requilme, ayala, zenatii, cambiasso, ortega... I miss that team!

  • Me too I cried as well when he scored that is why he is my favourite footballer he has humility,he is loyal and he has class pure genius Bati I miss you :(

  • Has Batistuta ever scored a scrappy goal or a tap in? I HIGHLY DOUBT. This guy was LETHAL in his day.

  • a true gentleman with strong values! you don´t see too many players like him right now. They are just soldiers of fortune that would play for the highest bidder.

  • wrost commantry

  • best striker of the 90's alongside the real ronaldo

  • @Megadeth72 lol the real ronaldo i belive c ronaldo is real too shit nvm i must be dreaming that cant be true right?

  • @Megadeth72 Zamorano was better.

  • @nicolandiax yes than bati's mom

  • @Megadeth72 and please tell me when u are talking about 90's who whe fuck was Romario?!

  • The only player that was loved by everyone... Nobody doubted this guy!

  • @Deenijel Such as Rui Costa may I had :)

  • Goal machine... one of the most lethal strikers of all time

  • Batigol forever....

  • I remember watching this on TV and when he scored ... It gave tears in my eyes, I can only imagine the agony and sadness he felt when he kicked the ball. And what a goal it is! There can be Messi, Ronaldo, Totti, Zidane - I don't care, there won't be another Gabriel Batistuta ever again.

  • io c'ero....

  • yup! he said that fiorentina is the best team he ever played for... what a player!

  • My childhood Idol..... Batigol.

  • hulooking for some fun if you know what i mean just msg meh

  • q jugador bati

  • lol da commentry

  • My mam can do better (i wish) =)

  • bati,bati,bati,bati,bati,bati,bati,bati,bati,bati,bati,........goooooooooooooooool

  • @65kea why dont they do this in english

  • @jaymax9560 do what?

  • @65kea Do the crazy "Gooooooooolllllllllllll" thing. english commentators, at least those who speak English, never seem to overreact.

  • @AzzurroVincerebbero Maybe they are too boring.

  • He was great on the pitch and humble out of it. He doesn't even celebrate the goal he scores against his former team. Amazing Batistuta!!

  • @BalconX

Yea... Amazing player, amazing person... miss him in florence... ACF Fiorentina ha never been the same :(

  • superb..

  • beautiful goal from a big player

  • bati,bati,bati,bati,bati,bati...win

  • What a striker....love seeing that sort of emotion and passion from footballers, why it is the greatest sport!!ANd again what a striker,lethal..........

  • excellent forward!

  • one of the best players in the world

  • bei tempi....

  • Good

  • total respect for Batistuta, total respect, he refused to celebrate the goal against his former team, you'll never see a player so loyal to his team.

  • @hareega Many years had gone by since this goal, and I am yet to see another similar situation from any other player. Not celebrating, yes. Cry? No.

  • @hareega Eeerrrmmm yes you do? By not leaving them maybe?

  • @kosovanwhizkid you are full of shit

  • @hareega actually in portugal a player called Joao Paulo was formed in Uniao Leiria n played there like for 7 years , n thn he was transfered to FCPorto n scored against Uniao Leiria , , he cried n didnt celebrate, search on utube..

  • @hareega Tevez didn't celebrate against West Ham either.

  • @hareega yeah, definitely agree.

  • @hareega Anelka refused to celebrate against Arsenal' and i think ud see the same respect with Kaka

  • @hareega

SORRY...BUT I BELIEVE...THAT FRANCESCO TOTTI IS A LITTLE MORE LOYAL TO HIS TEAM...

  • @BurghyRome87 batistuta made his great career at fiorentina... he means loyal to his former team...

  • @BurghyRome87 roma didnt got to serie b,,,,fiorentina did, and batigol stayed with them

  • @BurghyRome87

    Giggs,Del Piero,Paul Scholes.....

There were many players that stayed in 1 team for long time. But when you see Bati not celebrating his against Fiorentina you know how he loves that club. And you just have to respect that kind of attitude.

  • @BurghyRome87

    no

    nonononono

  • 0:16 is that fabio capello?

  • Yeah he is.

  • yes it is,,,

  • yes

  • get with the programme sonny, capello has won serie A with roma ( 2001 ), juventus, ac milan......also won la liga for real madrid.

  • twice with real! ;)

  • true..shearer is shearer..no doubt..but in my personal opinion..batistuta is way better than shearer..2 hatricks in 2 different world cups..i think that says it all doesnt it...

  • para haber hecho que Capello sonria.... MITICO BATI

  • batistuta is in my opinion the best striker ever.how many strikers can shoot with both feet, and also head the ball as well as he did...not to mention the fantastic strikes from free kicks and penalties..plus.he's the only guy i know who's scored 2 hatricks in 2 different world cups,a pity that he was so loyal to la viola(fioentina)..imangine the honours he woulda won if he played for barcelona, real madrid, juve(at their peak),man utd or any "big name team".a true loyal, humble and great striker...

  • Alan Shearer did the same. The highest goal scoeres in the EPL, but stayed and Newcastle.

  • Look at him, he was crying for scoring against his former team! But Adebayour was double happy for scoring against Arsenal lol! Grande Batigol!

  • fuck adebayor.

  • @AnasAlex10 Adebayour was very very pissed off at Arsenal, they had an argument or something. Bati left Fiorentina with his head up high

  • @AnasAlex10 hahahaha yeah, Batigol pure class. remember? he agreed to cut his hair in order to be in the team whereas other 2 left, stating that coach doesn't respect them enough.

  • @xolloy01 yes , they could have a stronger team in 98 but I believe Caniggia and Redondo left the national team because the short hair rules

  • @Megadeth72 oh yes! those two are the names i've forgotten.

Batigol+Veron+Zanetti+Cambiaso+Ortega+Riquelme+Crespo=one of the all time best Argentinian Squad.

  • @AnasAlex10 Adebayor was nothing but an overpayed monkey, And this comming from an arsenal fan.

  • @AnasAlex10 the Arsenal fans were cunts. They practically forced him out of Arsenal themselves. Regardless of my personal opinion of Adebayor, they deserved his celebration.

Probably my favourite football moment over the last few years.

  • he was crying inside after scoring u could tell...an dat sounded gay but u have to undestand how he felt abou fiorentina

  • A very noble man and a fantastic player. Torres is my hero but if Batistuta was playing today I know who would be better in comparison.

  • romanista merda

  • Batigol is much more reputable than Ronaldo (fat one) in Italy ... He is the true warrior because of successful in Italy (the most defensive league) Unlike Ronaldo, who win World Footballer because he played well against crab defense...

  • Super-well said dude.

  • You truly match the definition of stupidity. But what happened? Did Internet arrive in Hong Kong also? :D Damn, shoot urself
