  • I like everything about this video except for you coughing in my ear in the beginning and snorlapping in it for the rest. The crunchy glass and final product made up for it though!

  • Not too shabby.

  • lol

  • $5 says this guy was in jail... judging by the tats on his hands ... just saying but im probably waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay wrong...

  • Some archaeologist will be finding that in a pig bone (or a police mans arse) in 10 thousand years thinking "This looks a lot like the work of a man known as johnjayrambo on a thing called the tinterweb" lol

  • I'm betting they don't spend much time bare foot around there. pretty cool though.

  • I'm betting they don't spend much time bare foot around there.

  • Not all glass will knap , only plate , or solid glass will , exp.. beer bottles , flower vaices , plate glass from store fronts , or 1/4 inch plate for 4.00 a square ft at a glass store.. and advice if i were you id sit down on a bench or use your knee and a piece of thick rubber or leather. and the object is to push IN and down not just down , and if you did it this way ..well lets just say you will only miss once with that flaker..

  • Cool vid man , but you do realize theres way better ways to pressure flake right , you seem to be fussing around alot with that rag.. try a piece of convair belt , or some rubber shop floor tiles.

  • DARTH VADER KNAPS FOR THE EMPIRE

  • wered u get coper flaker plz tel me

  • Nice one! Remember the safety goggles though, kids! Glass sounds fragile but if its for hunting it will hit flesh and, maybe, bone so the chances of it staying in one bit are pretty good.

  • Nice work. Have you tried deer antler?

  • got enough tatoos there brother lol

  • nice work. i have found that the sides of jack danials and other square whiskey bottles work really well cuz they are flat and a little thicker than window glass.

  • lol nice arrowhead the knapping sound feels good to my ears it makes me sleep haha

  • i use glass too... quick and easy... the bottoms of bottles are a challenge... just improvising until i can get som flint... you can also use porceilin.... watch the glass dust too man... it can kill your respritory system almost like somebody's tickling your throat.... with needles

  • fuckin darth vader shit lol

  • nice you should show the glass arrowhead in action thx

  • nice, how good of a knapper are you?

you also should use a leather pad and rest that on your hand then put the glass ontop of it itl be alot easyer and will stop the cloth from getting in the way

  • Yes you can knap glass. The glass Rambo is using is clear probably window glass, which is good because it is flat. but you can't see the the scallops where the flakes came off. I have done this with brown beer bottle glass it looked great one one side not as good on the concave side do to the radius of the bottle in took me a long time to do that.

  • yes you can like onefastdart said use a beer bottle the bottom is the best part cause its thickness

  • Greast Video malc, can't remember if i commented before, but i will now, they came out great those arrow heads, awesome work.

    Mike.

  • And you just know that little SOB is sharper than a scalpel. Very cool- and VERY useful.

  • who would of thunk it .......glass . Very cool Malc.5/5

  • thanks chris .

    malc

  • Hey malc nice video, very instructional. Did you knew that une of my homemade kubotans is exactly like your pressure flaking tool??? It's crazy

  • ha ha very strange ,

  • nice vid 5*

  • how did you make your pressure flaking tool? show us if you dont mind

  • i tried doing this for the first time and it was goiing good until the tip. i couldnt get it sharp or pointy. wat advice can you give

  • Do not grind the tip to get a good point. pound it with a hammer to thin it out, then tap a couple of time the other way to make a solid point. They are stronger and stay longer if you use a hammer to shape the tip vs. grinding.. JMHO..

  • that depends on the metal used, it works that way for copper because it work hardens, with some other metals, such as steel, you can just heat treat it

  • Very useful vid! Better hoover the garden now though!

  • Oh hells yea!

  • hey do u have any traps that i can use to get rid of a mouse prefferably not bloody?

    itd be very appreciated...

  • You need your own survivorman style show!

  • i nearly chucked that away,i thought it was rubbish

  • Wow, maybe you should have! Poor Ray may get a sliver in his paw running around there now??

  • you chuck it away and i,ll chuck out your hairbrushes hahahah lol only ,joking my darling

  • thats like tottally sweet

  • i bet if you got lost in a wood you will come out a week later driving a tank that you made out of an old dead tree and your t shirt lol thats a good job m8 liked the video. dint know you can do that with glass. (i bet malk gets a telling off when misses ramob finds out were her cups have gone lol)

  • hahahah well you better not tell her

  • I use the end of a deer antler that I sawn off

  • one shoot arrowhead or twice maybe????

  • nicely done
