  • MM4 is so nostalgic! Dust Man's stage was the first Mega Man stage I ever played :)

  • You Know I Practice My Show-off in Mega Man 2

  • Die Wily.

  • wow i could not do that 3:47-3:48

  • Oh, man. That took me so long to perfect.

  • @GeminiLaser well it will take me days do do that!

  • I have an explanation for the rush marine oddity: The blaster shots are below the cannon because they appear out of rush's mouth when shot when you are in him, and getting in him puts a new sprite over mega man's usual sprite, taking everything about the physics and all (Besides moving) with it.

    ...I think.

  • Epic MM7 quote at the end. Oops I actually killed him!

  • Games can never come without glitches...

  • Funny thing I found out about Brightman's AI. The programmers were smart and made it impossible to kill Brightman with the Rain Flush only WITHOUT him activating the Flash Stopper....unless you shoot him once with a normal megabuster shot and then spam away. He activates the Flash Stopper at certain amounts of health: 12, 17, and 24 if my memory serves. That's how many of the little bars are gone I mean. If you can make him never hit those...no Flash Stopper for him.

  • True! Those tricky programmers.

  • @ssbmfreak36 I believe it was 12, 20 and 24. Then only 1 buster shot and Rain Flushes would be enough.

  • @OrkTv I think you're right. It was 20 or 17, I can't remember. Thank you for correcting me if I'm wrong, I will check later.

  • @ssbmfreak36 RoahmMytril had a perfect run series, in which he used this tactic to predict when he should evade the Flash Stopper. It seems it worked. Well anyway I'm glad to help.

  • i always expected like a tetris theme trick in the dr cossack levels, but unfortunately, no... then again, tetris is owned by nintendo, and megaman is capcom, so...

  • One of them reminds me of a glitch in 2. When fighting Wood Man, Walk up to him as soon as he shoots the leaf sheild. He hit me at the same time i hit him, so I had the explosion parts ON megaman as woodman exploded

  • Nice.

  • it must have taken a long time to find all of these :O thumbs up!!

  • too many awesome moments to start commenting @___@

  • Willys death, o_O well it was for the better, the games after IV were pretty mediocre

  • Not so! I think people generally have skewed expectations of the Mega Man series that make the later games seem weaker than they really are.

  • @GeminiLaser maybe i was bit harsh yes, but i think atleast the music went downhill when V came , ofcourse there are some exceptions with the latter but when you think about how almost every boss in the earlier games had kick ass music themes, it was harder to get into the right mood with recycled themes. Yes there are some awesome addons to the newer titles which made them sorta good in a way :)

  • @GeminiLaser Yes! Thank you! I never understood why everyone loved MM1,2,3 so much more than the later games.

  • The fanbase seems to hate everything after (and before...) megaman2, even tough they are quite good.

  • Agreed. I wrote about that on my blog, Exfanding Your Horizons, in a post called "Stop Loving Mega Man 2"; not that I'm shamelessly plugging myself or anything... ;)

I think it's that so many people grew up with MM2 (and MM3) and made unreasonable expectations for the series based on their nostalgia.

  • all of ur videos = awsome showoofyness n tried these glitches theyre fun :) :p

  • Thanks! Glad you like.

  • 9:20 Why is it that this death reminds me of Nora Carpenter's from Final Destination 2?

  • Haven't seen it...but I can smile and nod my head, at least.

  • normally I hate people comments over gameplay... but your are for the most funny!

  • 1:44 Umm, maybe ProtoMan was bored and thought: Hey, I'm going to kill DR. WAHWE. FOR FUN. Really. Not for my creator. Totally.

  • did you say GCDotNet

  • Mebbe. I do contribute videos there as well, on occasion.

  • PARADOX!

  • Dont play the rest of the series u killed wily

  • I know, right? I should totally just call it a day.

  • @GeminiLaser ha, that's why I love your commentary - always some more or less obvious references, like you had there. ( "I should have done this YEARS ago! Die, Wily!" )

  • I love continuity, and I'm always happy when I can reference something without forcing a reference.

  • Space?Spaace!SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!

  • At 2:58 to 3:08 it always happens to me in MM1 in Elec man's stage T_T

  • Ha, very nice ending! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks! Happy to share.

  • Sorry--"past due cultural reference"; not "pasdu." ;) Just saying that the pop culture joke I was making was long past its expiration date, and probably not relevant anymore. :)

  • Did you know that you can slide under the drill bomb? I have done it.

  • Whoa--dodging!? Who'd'a thunk it... ;)

  • @JDOCJO5814 u cant dodge drill bombs, he shoots way to low

  • The trick with the permanant time stop, it kind of looked like the boss had one bar of health left because of the wall design. Pretty funny huh?

  • Indeed!

  • the last trick i almost died at laugher, HAHAHA

  • As did I when I first saw that!

  • i love your reviews/walkthroughs; they are of, like, ELITE quality. but i gotta know, what is it that you like so much about 4, and what is it that makes you prefer it over 2 and 3?

  • Thank you! So here's the thing about Mega Man: If you've played one game, you've essentially played them all. I know I like the general concept and mechanics of the games, so it's just a matter of which specific elements of each game improve or spoil the experience for me. MM2 has great weapons and challenges, but there's WAY too much sprite flicker, and the puzzle sections aren't quite as fun on multiple playthroughs when you know the solution, and refilling weapon energy can be a PAIN.

  • (continued)

I have numerous issues with MM3: Incomplete in-game story; special weapons are glitchy and redundant; boss vulnerabilities are wonky; most Doc Robot stages are repetitive; WAY too many enemies have annoying attack patterns and temporary/partial invulnerability.

MM4 is my gold standard because the weapon selection is good, the Mega Buster makes it feasible to tackle any boss first, challenges and enemies are varied, and there are no elements that ruin the fun for me.

  • @GeminiLaser Amen to this. Love the music, much of the stages and the robot masters in 3, but gdi the buster blew ass. It's hopeless to do most of em without their weaknesses. Instead of it just being cool that they could be beat easier with a certain weapon, in MM3 I always felt like the game pretty much required it. '

Oh and the part where the bosses ramming into you ate 1/3 of your health. Seems goofy to rush into the projectiles of the bosses since they do less damage to you.

  • Megaman was never ment to kill :o

  • And this was his ultimate punishment.

  • 8:00 and 9:40

HAH! I did truly lol with that.

  • i just noticed, dive man looks like hard man

  • Nice Megaman 7 reference at the end.

  • If you use game genie to do that rush marine vs dive man, it works.

  • I tried doing the "Kill Wily" glitch. Except I did it a bit too early. Wily still died but his machine just sat on the ground. Empty.

The machine could still hurt me though by touching it.

  • Oops! That sounds like fun; I'll need to try that!

  • Comment removed

  • 8:00 lol :)

  • Someday, my friend...someday.

  • when was dieing ever safe

  • Never. Not ever.

  • I didn't! It was quite a surprise; I was really curious.

  • Oops!

  • I was so wonderfully surprised when I discovered that could happen.

  • Well, yes, there is that...

  • 2:10 This glitch also worked for Hard Man's fight. Except it never ends. :(

  • Aw, sad.

  • Heh Heh. I have beaten Dive Man With Rush Marine. It is pointless though.

  • It really is. But it's fun.

  • You have quite a personality! I enjoyed this video!

  • Thank you! Glad you did!

  • @GeminiLaser i cant stop laughing ure funnier then all i saw....

  • Thanks!

  • "Except for the part where you die, which is not very safe at all." I have killed myself SO MANY times because I'm one of those people who likes to jump between screens. That has killed me more than anything else on that stage! Xp

  • As long as you get a good laugh out of it every once and a while, then it's all OK.

  • subbed

  • Alright!

  • subbed!

  • Cool!

  • oh man gemini i love your vids

  • Thanks!

  • @GeminiLaser no problem Nathaniel

  • u forgot in dive man when u call the dog that make u jump ( actualy works anywere) call him and then get hit quickly he will appear goin down to u

  • I think I've seen that before; there's ALWAYS something I didn't put in.

  • That trick with rush marine when your shots are below you... I thought I was the only one who noticed that. Awesome.

  • It's kinda weird, right?

  • Love the vids, subbed!

  • Glad to have you aboard!

  • Another fun glitch: you can kill yourself after beating a boss by sliding back and forth on the baloon adaptor close to the ceiling.

  • Yep! Well, that's the same principle at work as what I show here, but it's fun to do that after beating a boss.

  • Did you just ghost ride rush?

  • When?

  • Holy crap. You stopped not only the boss, but the games flow!

The time stopper is too strong for the game its in!

  • Truly, we do not know the power of these weapons we use.

  • 4:39 epic fail XD

  • That was too much fun to resist.

  • Hilarious! Air Bud. HA!

  • Glad you liked that one. :)

  • @GeminiLaser I'm definitely gonna try some o' these. Oh, by the way, a small graphical glitch I discovered; If you slide under a tight space with your Mega Buster fully charged and let go of B, Mega Man remains the color he was flashing until you end your slide. You can actually just slide anywhere to do this glitch, but I prefer tight spaces so that I can go back and forth and see the color. Also as soon as you press B again, you don't have to wait for the Mega Buster to charge again. Try it!

  • Yep! I actually do that in my full playthrough of the game, but I enjoy it ever so much.

  • You know? You're like my favorite user on Youtube. I think you are SO FUNNY with your vids.

  • Thank you!

  • I was playing megaman and I killed a boss and it killed me but it didnt count as a win! so I threw the controller across the room T_T

  • Aw, boo.

  • lol fumy as hell you rock!

  • Thanks!

  • sliiiiiiiide, WHOOP! LOL My favorite part!

  • One of mine, too.

  • I think Mega Man meet Mario in space. :)

  • Super Mega Man Galaxy, maybe?

  • 6:10 I knew it :D

  • Yeah... :)

  • I'm making a video of Mega Man 5's Debug Mode from game genie

  • Neat!

  • I used to drop a bomb on the triforce and pick it up just as the explosion goes off. It turns the screen a pale color as the sequence unfolds.

  • Different game, but very cool.

  • you can't kill Dr. Wiley because he always be apart of the megaman series... If you do, you'll create a universal paradox.

  • And nobody wants that.

  • MM7 Reference FTW!

  • Couldn't resist. :)

  • I tried the "Kill Wily with Rain Flush" and it actually worked. Pretty funny.

  • Yeah, that was a fun surprise when I learned about that trick. :)

  • No no no. No need to bring this up.

  • Sometimes, when you shooting Metal Blades everywhere in MM2, they stuck in the air.

  • So I've seen! Though I'm not sure how that pertains to MM4. ;)

  • well i also enjoy all the nice mm video's from you buddy :)

still... how long do we have to wait for new mm 6 video's?

  • Erm...negative...weeks. MM6 is all finished, except for the bonus video, which should be out in a few more weeks.

  • Thanks--I appreciate the compassion, but no need to police my channel with happiness. ;) People don't like something, sometimes they tell you bluntly. Sometimes people are just angry, or tired, or drunk, or all of the above. Sometimes--holy cow, I just noticed this video has 24,819 views. That's incredible. With a number like that, it's unreasonable to expect that so many people will all be happy with what you do. I can deal with a little nonspecific opinion-based criticism now and again.

  • you anoying as FUCK!!

  • You not need watch video, then!

  • Even if the death of Wily creates a time paradox, just think: you still saved the world. What else matters? Rock may be trapped in Wily's castle forever, but he was willing to give his life for the cause...over and over again, if this video is any proof. XD

  • HA! What a noble idea! Profound.

  • I do what I can, sir.

And I thank you for creating such an awesome video. I'm no Mega Man expert, but I still lay claim to MM4 as my favorite of the NES games. So seeing all this is nothing short of entertaining. And excellent.

  • Well, thank you! I'm glad to provide! It's glitches and tricks like these that help make MM4 my favorite--there's so much you can do aside from trying to beat the game that it's just fun to be there!

  • Oh and don't use Wire Adaptor to finish the boss either. (1:24) Or you will be stuck there untill you drop off the roof.

  • Hm...gotta try that sometime!

  • hay do you have 6 7 and 8

  • Unfortunately, I'm fresh out of 6, 7, and 8. I've got plenty of 0-5 and 9-Infinity left in stock, though.

Wait, you mean Mega Man games? I do, why?

  • @GeminiLaser Maybe you should take some 6s,7s, and 8s out of one of those really big numbers no one cares about like 678678678678678678.

  • Hey! That's the combination on my luggage!

  • @GeminiLaser Well now we know where all his 6s, 7s, and 8s went.

  • @PsiStarstormOmega981 i want to see more megaman plz

  • There'll be more! It's just taking way longer than expected due to unexpected things.

  • @GeminiLaser Ok

  • 8:05 I love using that glitch.

  • That is a great glitch.

  • @GeminiLaser it is. It is.

  • I just looked around for other Megaman glitchy goodness, and saw one for the wily castle Octopus Furnace. Apparantly hitting the boss with drills high and low cause it to not hit you with collision so you can just stand inside it. Can you confirm or debunk this glitch on here, or maybe you'll save it in case you ever get enough glitches for a second vid for MM4?

  • Yes! I've seen that somewhere before, but I've never tried it myself. I have plans of doing more glitch videos eventually, so we just might see that glitch on this channel! ...Eventually.

  • Lol you quoted MM7 at 9:32

  • It seemed appropriate. :)

  • I Subscribed ^w^

  • I approve. :)

  • @GeminiLaser X3

  • Wow, I don't think I've ever gotten THAT face before! I'm flattered. Unless you're referencing Mega Man X3.

  • @GeminiLaser nope just Megaman 3 :),

  • I really love the part at 6:07

This is much safer, except for the part when yuo die, then it's not really safe at all.

  • That part is truly some of the most fun I have with this game. :)

  • You know what, what happened when you couldn't finish the level because of Flash Stopper, is because, Flash Stopper launched the byte that lets you go to the next level into space which means it's gone.

  • Oops.

  • 9:40 And that's why Rain Flush is the best weapon in the entire Mega Man series :)

  • Indeed.

  • Impressive fight with Pharaoh Man. I always thought of that character as a more well done version of "Elec Man". Similar movement but with more different attacks AND a somewhat more reasonable diffculty :)

  • Thanks! And I can agree with your assessment, though I much prefer Pharaoh Man.

  • Sliiiiiiiiiiiiiide

  • Oh man!! i d really like ur Vids XD !!!

Good performance + good glitches + tooooo funny!!!!

    Thanks, dude!!!

  • Thank you! Glad you like!

  • 9:45 minits of my life expired by a stupid 10-age game wtf

OMG UR SO FCKING NUB GO PLAY COD BLACK OPS OR SOMTHING

o yes only what u hafe is a DS ?
