can you just put immitation butter instead of all that ingredients to make that foam? I know how to make the butterbeer itself because i have the ingredients. but not for the foam. so can you put immitation butter?
caramel heat 35 seconds, then put a liittle spoonfil of butter heats that and then get normal coke and pour it on tp of it, then put ice cream to get that creamy flavour then you could put some vanilla extract and stir then drink or freeze and drink
I'm having a Harry Potter marathon with my friends this weekend. How much butter beer do you think I'll need? I can't decide between one cup each or just making a gigantic batch and saying "Go At It". XD
@ashy13241 Well I have had ButterBeer party's and for about 15 people a gallon and a half was plenty most people can only drink one glass because it expands in your stomach and makes you feel full.
Made this for the first time today! For some reason, the beer was opaque instead of translucent. There could be a few reasons why; for one thing, I used root beer instead of cream soda; and instead of butterscotch "syrup" I used butterscotch caramel topping; also the soda was still warm. BUT all that aside it was DIVINE!!! My sister loved it, hahha. It's been too long since I had real butter beer to remember, but this was definitely familiar and YUMMY!!!!
@RandellScandal01 the root beer and butterscotch caramel would make the beer be a little different but actually the opaque is the correct way and the butter beer I have in the video is just fake looking butter beer. glad you liked it
@SSDzicek Ooooh I see! It's just I remember the ones I drank at Universal were kind of translucent, but whatever, this was still delicious; I'm glad I found your video!
@xltheangellx You can but it will defeat the secret to what really make the Butter beer different than most drinks and what really gives it the special flavor
@HHr0894 you can buy it online. if you know any store that sells monin syrups check there. I'm making some for some 8 yr olds...im going to cheat, I will make some spiders (hey I might use a butterscotch ice cream) with Creaming Soda. The syrup is costly for a one time use imo.
@Dragonlady66 The butterscotch ice cream will make the beer base thick and cloudy, the best way would be to use a butterscotch flavor extract. This way it keeps the color and consistency.
@SSDzicek Hi yes, I would use your recipe for teens and above who are Harry Potter fans but for the crowd i'm planning for, they wont know any different.
@xINVISIGOTHx Its not Disney but Universal and between talking to my friends who work there and making lots of test and comparing it to the ones in the park, I perfected the recipe
@banahna21 This is the one used in the parks at Universal, Disney in not in ownership with Harry Potter or any of its trade marks. This recipe is non alcoholic.

people need to get more creative with the costumes- there's more houses than gryffindor and more awesome outfits than the standard movie cloaks.
