It's a good cigar that lasts a good 30-40 minutes depending on how steady you smoke it. You need a humidor for cigars in tubes as well. The tube only works as an evening protection/carry tube.

Yes u will need a humidor for any cigars that u are going to store for anything over 24hrs. The Tubes are just for protection against bumps etc and do not hold any moisture or humidity in.

I've never heard of a short Churchill. I'll have to see if I can find any.  They look like they would be a good, but quick smoke.
