u should've just uploaded the video onto windows movie maker THEN uploaded it to youtube. flipshare sucks when it comes to its own connection. btw, u can still have horrible connection but have a fast windows 7. COMCAST FTW!

you need to save it to the pc and it will safe it as a .mp4, and then you upload that. If you just upload it via "share" it will be normal quality.

I love my flip camera. I chose the Flip Ultra because I did not want to be limited by a sealed battery. I do all my latest vids (see my channel)with it and even when you watch the vids full screen it looks very good.

WARNING: If you create a flip video and email it to someone, it will VANISH from their computer in a few days! Yes! I found this out when people complained that some tutorials I sent them just disapeared. I contacted Flip twice to ask why and they never responded! VERY aggravating!

Hey not a bad video. FlipShare and the Flip itself are pretty easy to figure out if you have a little bit of knowledge on electronics and computers, but I bet this vid will help a lot for the people who aren't as electronically or computer savvy. Great job.

I notice the same thing - they look really sharp when playing them back in the Flip itself, and even in the computer BEFORE putting them on YouTube. Again, I think it has to do with compression, but I know very little about this. Too, YouTube just altered the way to "View in High Quality." At least what I am seeing as of last night, now it is a red square button you have to click on, instead of the written option for folks who do not know you can view it in either regular of high quality...

Can you tell me why when I post a video to YouTube, the sound gets all wierd and metallic? It sound perfect when I am uploading them or just playing them back, but someone said 'compressing" it does this - but I hardly ever hear other YouTube vids sound this way - my model is the Flip Ultra. Is this a thing particular to that model or is it just my computer???

The flip video program is iffy at best.

You're lucky to get 10% of your movie to load to your computer,, then even less % of that movie to upload to You Tube.

It's about 3 to 6 months away from acting correct.

Still lots of bugs in Flip ware.

well the mino's are amazing. but i got the regular and it was really crappy i mean my s'es sounded like really weird and i had no editing no pause. it was just terrible! and mine, the batteries were weighing down on the "reciever" things that use the battery and they bent. and it was humid and the paint started to peel. it sucked. but i have a new camera. but like i said the mino's and the ultra are really good for flip. but if i had to recomend the regular i would not.
