Hmm...I think Regan failed a bit here in the bonus round. In the final draw, he failed to realize that as long as the women didn't draw a N or O ball, they would've won anyway (no way they could've made a Lingo with anything else at that point). Not a big deal, but he could've given that fact.
I recognize the gold ball or "La Boule D'or" from the french Canadian version .I love guitar riff they played if the team lingoed in the bonus round but I digress.
Freaking fantastic. Beats all hell outta watching 2 minutes of a coupl'a pretty people struggle to solve 2 or 3 words at $100 a'piece. I really wish GSN would find a way to air this version...
4:33 for the viewers who have NOT seen this show before it's the gold ball if you picked it out of the hopper the draws end on the spot with good news.
zeldafanii - The production company was saddled with financial problems, which led to some contestants not getting their winnings. And from what I read on the web, stations pulled the show off their schedules, possibly because of these troubles the production company was having.
just looking at the different contrasts of personalities between the 2 of them kate is energetic and adele doesn't give a rats ass until the last pull
i don't think it could've been the lingo jackpot because it was pretty stocked during the main game. Plus think all that is cash because you can't win that much with trips
No balls, two strikes. All Kate and Atelle have to do is avoid Lingo, and they will be the World Champions of Lingo. Here's the pitch. G 54!! Kate and Adelle are THE WORLD CHAMPIONS OF LINGO!! Let the party begin!!
It's only because the contestants on this version never got their winnings, mostly because the production company was heading for bankruptcy; which lead to the demise of this version of Lingo.
What your not supposed to avoid lingo now. Why did they name it lingo back then If they didn't want to lingo lol

@dyl98dyl
Because the only way to advance to the bonus round is to get a Lingo.

I have a network of Game TV on my digital. They can probably have this version of lingo.

I kind of like this endgame better than the Chuck Woolery version IMO. There's much more suspense to it.
mpontheair2 2 years ago 3
I do too, but unfortunately with how long it takes, we'd see maybe 5 or 6 minutes of main game.

That Dusty drove me bananas by picking out the balls herself. She liked to say "ZESTY" a lot.

I remember on Lingo with Chuck Woolery when a contestant spells out lover, Shandi Finnessey says "luvah".

hmmm $76,250-$64,000=$12,250 narzo do u have any idea how they got that much money in there first two games?
namk19 4 years ago
The Lingo jackpot in the main game. Started at $1000 and went up $500 each game it wasn't won, plus sometimes there was a trip in there.

I can only imagine how pissed these ladies must have been, to do all that for nothing, and for reasons beyond their control, what a shame.
