  • What your not supposed to avoid lingo now. Why did they name it lingo back then If they didn't want to lingo lol

  • @dyl98dyl

Because the only way to advance to the bonus round is to get a Lingo.

  • @GSNSmashFan3 That's true for sure.

  • Hmm...I think Regan failed a bit here in the bonus round. In the final draw, he failed to realize that as long as the women didn't draw a N or O ball, they would've won anyway (no way they could've made a Lingo with anything else at that point). Not a big deal, but he could've given that fact.

  • @darkpowrjd L4 as well

  • Comment removed

  • I recognize the gold ball or "La Boule D'or" from the french Canadian version .I love guitar riff they played if the team lingoed in the bonus round but I digress.

  • Not to mention the music is cool..... oh wait, late 80's, of course it's cool.

  • Freaking fantastic. Beats all hell outta watching 2 minutes of a coupl'a pretty people struggle to solve 2 or 3 words at $100 a'piece. I really wish GSN would find a way to air this version...

  • I have a network of Game TV on my digital. They can probably have this version of lingo.

    William.

  • I kind of like this endgame better than the Chuck Woolery version IMO. There's much more suspense to it.

  • I do too, but unfortunately with how long it takes, we'd see maybe 5 or 6 minutes of main game.

  • That Dusty drove me bananas by picking out the balls herself. She liked to say "ZESTY" a lot.

  • I remember on Lingo with Chuck Woolery when a contestant spells out lover, Shandi Finnessey says "luvah".

  • 4:33 for the viewers who have NOT seen this show before it's the gold ball if you picked it out of the hopper the draws end on the spot with good news.

  • The biggest Canadian Lingo winners EVER.

  • if this is canadian lingo shouldn't the dollar sign be on the other side?

  • Only if it's a french version, but this one's english.

    William.

  • ah ok

  • a little late but:

zeldafanii - The production company was saddled with financial problems, which led to some contestants not getting their winnings. And from what I read on the web, stations pulled the show off their schedules, possibly because of these troubles the production company was having.

  • if they tried to bring it back with the help of endemol i think it would be a big hit

  • It has been airing on GSN!

  • but it's nothing like this

  • Lingo on GSN is the American "Chuck Woolery" Version.

  • just looking at the different contrasts of personalities between the 2 of them kate is energetic and adele doesn't give a rats ass until the last pull

  • hmmm $76,250-$64,000=$12,250 narzo do u have any idea how they got that much money in there first two games?

  • The Lingo jackpot in the main game. Started at $1000 and went up $500 each game it wasn't won, plus sometimes there was a trip in there.

  • i don't think it could've been the lingo jackpot because it was pretty stocked during the main game. Plus think all that is cash because you can't win that much with trips

  • can i see the bail out from no lingo game please.

  • I can only imagine how pissed these ladies must have been, to do all that for nothing, and for reasons beyond their control, what a shame.

  • hey narzo any chance of posting the bonus round where another couple won $16,000 that u had on here awhile ago

  • it's adele, not attele

  • No balls, two strikes. All Kate and Atelle have to do is avoid Lingo, and they will be the World Champions of Lingo. Here's the pitch. G 54!! Kate and Adelle are THE WORLD CHAMPIONS OF LINGO!! Let the party begin!!

  • what sux is there is still no G 60

  • no N 44 G 48 and I 20 for $4000.

  • L 6, N 38 and N 36 for $8,000

  • 1st round at the time (lukebartolo) G58 my bad

  • That's quite a win!

  • Now that's I call a team with guts, determination ans the courage to go all the way.

  • amen to that luke

  • amen luke

  • in the answer to mike's question when they won 8000 there were 4 N's left in the hopper

  • Ha! Too bad they never got their check!!

  • Can I see the final two acts please.

  • hey luke how do they determine how many gold balls go into the hopper prior to the start of the bonus round? Cause I have no clue

  • 1 for 16k 2 for 32k and 3 for 64k

  • thanx luke

  • Why's that? Did the episode not air?

  • Matter of fact, this version of LINGO never even aired in New York!

  • ur right it was in canada

  • It's only because the contestants on this version never got their winnings, mostly because the production company was heading for bankruptcy; which lead to the demise of this version of Lingo.

  • Same for Pitfall. Sigh.
