  • I agree with this stuff. This is actually help to build our muscle strength. By creating limit, just same with when you use tyre to limit your run speed. That's build strength on your leg. When the limit gone, you will feel the different.

  • @MrSapitt Thank you. At first you will feel muscle memory when taking the bands off and after a few training sessions you will feel the muscle development. As you strengthen and fire more muscles your speed, agility, flexibility and endurance will improve and help enhance your athletic performance.

  • Consistency. These drills will only work if you actually do them consistently. Im talking 3-4 times per week for at least 4 weeks. Stick with it and you'll see results.

  • This method looks alright since once the elastic is gone, there is no resistance and therefore he would be able to run much faster over time. Well done chap.

  • the speed you train at is only going to make you slower , only way to get faster is with plyometric training such as depth jumpes lunges etc and training at full speed i.e sprinting downhill to allow your body to learn how to sprint faster and you need to increase the number of fast twitch fibres which can only be done by working at optimal speed with quality so ensure 36 hours of rest at least between each session working at these speeds shown will only increase the amount of slow twitch fibre

  • This doesnt help ball control at all mayb the beginning part. I have just familiarised myself with running with the ball at top speed while keeping close control and the secret really is to try with a small ball and use the lightest(using lace of shoe) of touches while dribbling this is the most affective as you can accelerate at different intervals Lennon messi robben and valencia use the same tech

  • Surely this is not what you want to do? This will not only make him slower but also limit the range in which he is effective... Playing is about being able to work through all ranges, long and short, fast and slow...

  • @SiTatePT being ab le to work through all ranges, long, short, fast and slow is exactly what we are working towards. being able to have the strength, quickness, flexibility, agility, balance and endurance along with overall core strength.

  • @myosource The player surely needs to be as quick as possible at getting into positions and then quick to get out of them, for example, if he moves the ball onto his right to go past a player he needs to get into the position quickly and then spring out of it quickly to move past the player. The problem I would see here is that the band will act to slow the player and limit the range and therefore act more as a hinderence.

  • @SiTatePT We work in and out of the bands, increasing core strength, explosion, power, imprving quickness, change of directions and all the areas you refer to. The bands are only worn to help build the core and quick twitch muscles, we rotate in and out of them working on full range of motion and maximizing our training time.

  • @SiTatePT when you take the bands off you feel the benefit and you are quicker, its resistance training.

  • @MrHairlossnomore Resistance training does not make you faster, it can but it is not destined to do this. Take bodybuilders for example, they're not massively well known for being good sprinters...

  • @SiTatePT  actually it's not making him slower the shorts sprints build up fast twitch muscles( speed )but the resistance bands build slow twitch muscles(endurance) while also giving more resistance to his fast twitch muscles.

  • @barca5madrid0 If you're saying you want him to do endurance exercises in these then you're way off the mark. The resistance produced by the bands will bring him into an adducted and internally rotated position at the hip, this will help activate the glutes which biomechanically are more useful over shorter distances. However prolonged use of these will detract from your biomechanics which means that you only want to use these when you're fresh and moving at pace not slow and tired

  • the best way to run faster is to find a steep hill and sprint up and down that hill and try to breathe in and out through the nose

  • Wow. This is some really powerful stuff. Not everyone has the luxury of training with such equipment though. Great video though.

    If you guys check out the videos on my channel, there are some great ways to improve speed and power with nothing but your body and a ball.

  • DONT BE AFRAID TO USE THESE MOVES IN REAL GAMES AND PICK UP GAMES....alot of people do.....just saying....good vid!!!!

  • these are excellant exercises.just every few minutes stop and go light jogging for a few minutes.. to allow the lactic acid to decrease in the body.. no these exercises are fantastic. even better try wil coervers  football techiques they are very simialar.

  • I like the concept, I've always been an advocate of spring type exercise devices and emulating sports movements, but it looks to me like this may shorten stride length

    After using the Kinetic Bands and taking them off, your body will go right back to its normal function/stride length. It may even lengthen the stride length due to increase strength, flexibility and control. We also have our athletes work with the bands, then take them off and repeat the same drills.

  • it's a good training method, but I prefer training my soccer skills with just a ball and a few coins for setting up parcours.

  • You cannot buy this particular product. The Kinetic Bands are sold only on our web site. I am the owner and managing partner. They may be similar products but most are worn around the ankles and others have weights that go with them. this is strictly resistance above the knees to target the Core muscles and take stress of your knees.

  • Improving the conditioning and strength in your Core muscles will also improve your ball contral, balance, and change of direction.

    Very interesting that all you can call it is crap and you have no facts to back it up.

  • If you are looking to find cheap ways to train you can do that. this makes it much simpler and far more effective. We have athletes, fitness people and physical Therapist that have tried your suggestions for years and are happy to find something easy, quick, portable and effective. The benefits of this product are well worth the invenstment.

  • Nick: I am trying to find some available soccer players to do more video. the key is you can do most any soccer drill while wearing the bands on work on your Core development with any of the drills you see in our videos or others.

  • Hourani: The straps expand for larger size legs. One of our trainers is 6' 7" 350 lb. former NFL Lineman and the work fine for him. Much smaller athletes train with the and wrap them underneath or cut them shorter.

    are all the top players in the world who all have won thing in common speed. if they do work buy giving you speed then it is a good buy

    the age of 7 or 8 is an age where the bands can be worn properly and they are beginning to think about advanced training.
