  • @brdsteed also, mondokoro

  • Started watching this around 1977. GREAT series!!

  • 格さんが刀を使う珍しい場面だ。

  • This was fun to watch on NYC TV. I liked it when they would whip out their 'badges' at the end and all the bad guys would bow in fear. Just saw on YouTube there was also an animated version 'Invincible Shogun.'

  • 水・水戸のご老公様・・!!

  • I Portrayed Mito Komon At Edomura

    Theme Park!!Just call me GaijiinMito!!!

Nothing like being served sake by "Oiran"!!I only wish It would be re releasd on local (NYC)T.V.

  • For the guy who watches this stuff to learn the culture, I think that is kind of funny. Would you watch the lone ranger to learn accurate american history. It's all the same hollywood bullshit.

  • I used to watch this every damn day when I got back from teaching! "Kono mon ga me ni hairu no ka!?" I even bought one of those little medicine 'boxes' and whipped it out at school one day-the kids thought I was nuts.

  • It's so funny to imagine how those kids in US react and they thought you were nuts, you are so omoshiroi, beihou!

  • Actually it was the Japanese kids that thought I was nuts. This show was so cloned from episode to episode that you could start watching one episode in the middle and immediately know what scene you were watching and what was coming next. I used to have a flow chart showing how the scenes went. Too much fun.

  • aaaah that is the grandpa that mugen killed :D

  • I managed to catch an episode on TV when I was in Tokyo in 2006. I'd like to have some DVDs to watch at home. It was so much fun!

  • Heard so much about this series, it looks awesome. Why they don't release it domestically like they did with Yojimbo?

  • i would love to share my view regarding this drama i'm only 29 yrs.old but my love for jidaigeki dramas are unstoppable learning japan"s "bunka"is really something i appreciate,i love Kozure okami & Atsu Hime.half of my heart has been left in japan and to my dear Takeshi-san

  • @iamnova2000 hey what are your favorite jidaigeki besides kozure okami?? lone wolf and cub is my absolute favorite..so im always looking for something that was just as good as that series of films with wakayama tomisaburo! ;D
