  • lol I was looking for some carb advice for my ta then I started seeing camaros and firebirds using seafoam. lol

  • throttle response= delayed reaction!! holy dogshit,i have a farm tractor that revs quicker than that.

  • u should just pour the seafoam in the driver seat , lite a match , drop it in the seat, wait 10 min and call the insurance company.

  • i like that you have the money to buy a jump box but not a battery wow epic failure and whats up with all the exhaust leaks you should have saved your money and bought some gaskets

  • wow i wouldn't even wasted my money on seafoam for that POS!!!

  • Douche-Bag!

  • Get r done! Lol

  • Damn It has to have 85 HP now!!! You must be poor.

  • Damn bet that thing has at least 80 HP.

  • hoopdie

  • Seems that everyone on here is making fun of his V-6 engine 2.8 liter or 3.1 liter depending on the year. But if that was a 20th anniversary edition with the Buick 3.8 turbo.. Then nobody would be busting his chops lol!!

  • @motts722 yeah but its nnnoootttttt

  • i saw a diffrence in RPM when he gased it a little more

  • im sorry you have to drive that. :(

  • what you need is a real man's 2nd gen T/A, you'll never want to go back to a 3rd gen matchbox car ever again

  • thats a 2.5 L 4 cylinder

  • I really think this seafoam stuff is a crock of horse shit. In the Uk and Ireland we don't use engine cleaners. There's nothing used as widely as what seafoam is in the states anyways. If you service your car every specified by the car manufacturer your engine is going to be just fine. Synthectics oils already carry detergents that clean the engine as well as protect, lubricate, suspend and carry away to the filter any harmfull shavings and deposits.

  • i mean.... take a check?

  • lol i had a 91 camaro rs with the 3.1L V6 and i also put a glasspack on it. sounded loud lol

  • "Cherry Bomb"....."SeaaFoam"

  • Lol. 9 bucks for seafoam, compared to the 30 cents for the new fuse for the EFI system.

  • luv this car hence why i have an 85' firebird :)

  • there was v6 and v8 in firebirds in the 80s and in the 90s and 2000s thay had the 3.4 and 3.8 in the 90s the 2.8 was in the 80s so know your shit and look it up

  • so it made no difference then? I mean, sounded like a pos before and after

  • damn was that a big ass 15 in back. nice

  • @salliesmaggiespotty

Actually v6 and v8 were both available in firebirds

  • No trans am were v8s firebirds were 6s

  • @blane21193

    except the 89 tta

  • @blane21193 You my friend are a fucking retard.. I have a 1985 FIREBIRD that is a 305 TBI original numbers matching.

  • @blane21193 there was v8 firebirds.....

  • @blane21193 not tryin to act like a know it all, but not all the firebirds were 6's. ever heard of an 88 firebird formula 5.0 305 or a 5.7 350 v8

  • @blane21193

Errr, there were firebirds with v8s... xD

  • Wrong again.There were no 6 cylinder Firebirds.All were V8s.

  • @sallymaggiespotty

There were lots of V6 Firechickens. Actually I do believe they were very few F Body 2.5 liter 4 cylinders also.

    Now T/A`s were V8`s.

  • dam my subie revs more ferocious

  • i miss my old bird i stuck a custom cold air intake and it performed amazing

  • that throttle response is horrible!

  • @xxxXW4NT3DXxxx

at the time it was running on 3 cyl

  • @v6firebirdv6 well that would explain it

  • @xxxXW4NT3DXxxx you do not know what you are talking about, its part of the computer system

  • @Firebirdy1989 what?

  • @xxxXW4NT3DXxxx maybe audio track is off a bit

  • Oh no i gone done let my car smoke

  • What is this a Joe Dirt advertisement????

  • Oh dem hillbillys and dem V6 wheels.

  • @Motorchevytoyota LOL thanks for responding

  • @Motorchevytoyota Its White smoke I found out its valve stem seals the guy charging 250.00 to replace is that bad?

  • @v6firebirdv6 my mazda b2200 could bark tires in third................

  • @spazz8448

lol mine has 255/75 r15 so lots of power lost

cant wait till i get 225/65s back on there

  • v6 is for pussys,

  • @Sexymanye419

damn rice bunners r for pussys

  • @v6firebirdv6 do you even know wat a rice bunner is dumbass lmao... V8s are for real cars.

  • @Sexymanye419

if im not mistaking firebirds did come with v8s dumbass, my car will stay with v8s. as long as my little v6 is running its staying!

now where is your car i bet its no v8s u prolly dont have one

  • @v6firebirdv6 hey dumbass they came in 4.9 v8s and older models a 6.6 v8 fucking idoit... lmao alright bud, is that why i have a 5.4 in my f150, and a 4.9 in my cadillac? lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Sexymanye419

all years of firebirds came with v8s dumbass

  • @Sexymanye419 Wheres the proof faggot? Talking all bad with no proof or back-up Ahahahahaha Upload some vids cunt, or can you not afford a cam? Lol

  • @Sexymanye419 You hillbilly boys aren't real car guys. Yeah, you and your low performance, excessivley displaced v8's. Only decent ones (american) are the more recent ones, proly due to pressure from foreign v6 and I4's. This v8 supremacy is a myth. Too often I see engine that boast "more" but do "less". You guys must love that extremely excessive 8L viper, huh. Superioir engineering allows for a car with less to do more. Also, really, no one does a v8 like foreigners these days, lol.

  • @styler3vct lmao what are you talking about v8 vs v6 is a myth??? LMAO wanna race then see the myth LMFAO!!!!!!!!! my cadillac IS A GM SPECIAL.... GM'S MADE IN AMERICA LMAO, SAME FOR MY F150, 5.4 TRITON MADE HERE BUDDY, LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Sexymanye419 I fail to see how anything you said is a rebuttal to what I've said. Older american v8 "performers" are clunky cars. Oh, and ofcourse you can't think of racing your v8 with an economy type I4 or V6 that's just silly. Full time now for more efficient engines. Unless you're talking X000 hp, then your V8 is unimpressive and lack sophistication. So many videos of worked v8 getting beat by worked I4's. You have to ask, where is this dominance they speak of? Forget about in corners lol

  • @Sexymanye419

    well lets line them up

come to atlanta motor speedway on the 23rd for friday night drags

im more than willing to line them up

  • @v6firebirdv6 LMAO BADASS!!!!!! YOU KNOW YOUR LOCAL DRAG STRIP NAME, LMFAO im over in Michigan you dumbass

  • Dam dude -you realy drive hoop-d ,get a better car youl get laid more Lmao

  • WHERE DO YOU PUT THE SEAFOAM IN THE V6 i can't figure it out

  • lol, 6 banger hunk of junk

  • @rocket9244

well this 6 banger will bark the tires in 3rd gear

  • @v6firebirdv6 My car smokes when I start it up, Can I put Seafoam in my oil tank?

  • @v6firebirdv6

I have one and, uh, in your dreams maybe.

  • @v6firebirdv6 .. <<< Lmao !!!

  • people always talk about how they get v6 firebird for mileage, which is fine. but leave the fucking stock exhaust on otherwise you look like a fucking retard.

  • @RicerEater1978

how do i look retarded i didnt get the bird for milleage i got it becouse you never see them. there getting rare

  • @v6firebirdv6 cuz it sounds like a ricemobile. and v6 firebirds are common. ive got a formula 350 right now and found a 91 v6 for $1000 nearby that im thinking about getting as well. its one thing to buy a v6 firebird, nothing wrong with that. but completely different to put a glasspack on it. no better than a kid going out and getting a civic and taking the muffler off

  • @v6firebirdv6 sorry for the wording btw, i was pissed off at the time of the first comment :p

  • @RicerEater1978

    o yea lol

i got a flowmaster on her now she is loud as hell

  • @v6firebirdv6 nvm, you dont get it. youll figure it out when youre older hopefully

  • @v6firebirdv6 lol, these people are morons v6s are in some of the best cars ever and they go in a range of economical to fast... these people are morons

  • @RicerEater1978 Also the 6 cylinders handel better. Juss sayin.

  • @Motorfordtoyota v6s never came with the ws6 suspension OR the wider tires (215 vs 245). a slight change in weight distribution wont make up for that. if you wanna go against mine on a road course i welcome you to :)

  • @RicerEater1978 Sorry, Im deffinately not going to take an offroad truck (4runner) on a road course!! But its just like in the new Camaros, the v6 handles better because of a big weight difference and the weight is better distributed.

  • @Motorfordtoyota lol. i wasnt talking about a 4runner. im talking about a v6 firebird. and where do you see v6 camaros outrunning the new SSs? according to reviews and stock specs, the ss not only outperforms the lt in acceleration but also skidpad and slalom. weight only helps until a certain point.

  • @RicerEater1978 Last review I read of the v6 Camaro, Motortrend claimed better handeling out of the v6 Camaro.

  • @Motorfordtoyota hmm, from what im finding the slalom on the ss is 2 mph higher than the v6 and .05 g better on the skidpad.

  • @RicerEater1978 Weird, last I read though, Motortrend said the v6 Camaro was more "fun" to drive in the twisties!

  • Smoke coming from valve cover gaskets leaking?

  • @Motorfordtoyota

no it was an small exhaust leak

  • @v6firebirdv6 That would make sense. The 4runner had a really bad leak at the valve cover gaskets, so I had to tear the top of the motor apart to change them.

  • does that engine ever rev up slow damn

  • @yz100f

at the time i didnt realize that a fuse poped for my injectors so yea i did rev up slow

  • That motors missing 2 cylinders! V6 firebirds were a disgrace lol

  • @jeremycraneskates Eh mine flies so I can't complain. I like my '83 V8 better though. lol

  • @jeremycraneskates i had an 89 with a 305 had no ball's but sounded like a beast

  • @andrewsuzukirider

    does it have the 700r4?

  • @v6firebirdv6 yes

  • @andrewsuzukirider

well thats why if was a t5 it would be bad ass

  • @v6firebirdv6 i put a ls1 with a 6 speed in it before i sold it but i sold it very quick the car was from up north and the whole underneath was falling apart from rust look like the car had seen a lot of salt and water in it's day's

  • ya know, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor would do wonders. Its got a wicked miss even after you poured that crap down the vaccum hose. Do a compression test also to see what the cranking comp is, then a leakdown to see how the valves and rings are.

  • you need a new engine not seafoam ,,,,lol,,,that thing is ran down man,,,,lol,,its a nice car,,,,

  • i got a 1982 firebird t-top but mines a 305 v8

  • @brent3360

    yea i wish i had a 305 or 350

  • @v6firebirdv6 they are so awesome...i had a 91 Formula 1 Firebird with a 350 Tuned Port Fuel Injection Motor in it....i sold it for WAAAYYYY cheap at the time....i didnt know what i had at the time and still kick myself in the ass for ever selling it....man i miss that car

  • @v6firebirdv6 wanna buy my firebird? its got a new 305 with roughly 40k on it. rebuilt trans.. edelbrock intake. new valves and springs. new piston rings. mickey tompson street slick in the rear. i got a video of it on my channel. selling it for 4 grand.

  • @AONEMANPRODUCTION where are you located

  • @v6firebirdv6 connecticut.

  • @AONEMANPRODUCTION i would buy it but its to far away

  • @v6firebirdv6 dam.. where do you live? down south?

  • @AONEMANPRODUCTION yea georgia

  • @v6firebirdv6 lol s'not that far. but alright man. it was worth a try.

  • why is your motor smoking

  • sounds like a lawnmower

  • @willymywonka

just the camera i was using

  • Oh yeah, and you know that seafoam has been linked to many cases of extreme valve ticks, rod knocks, thrown rods, ect!

  • @Motorfordtoyota I was looking at getting hold of some Seafoam, lots of people rate it yet you stated that it causes problems, would it be possible to forward a link to your findings, i dont want to chance it if its true, thanks :)

  • @offspringy

it helps allot my car is still running strong and barking tires in 3rd gear

  • @offspringy Well, I guess I cant say many, but a family friend's explorer v8 had a slight rod knock and a horrible valve tick after seafoaming it!

  • @Motorfordtoyota

did they pit seafoam in the oil? if they did did they change the oil after?

  • @v6firebirdv6 Yes and Yes. I leanered that the majority of the valve noise was fixed by a valve adjustment. But, seafoam cleans out what could have been quieting the sounds. Thats why. Also, lots of people have slight compression loss after because some of the build up in the cylinders is eatin away, causing a comp. prob.

  • Nice Firebird, 2.8? I wonder if my 88 4runner 3.0l v6 would beat it in a race! lol

  • @Motorfordtoyota not sure if your 4runner would but my 88 s10 with 2.8 and single turbo and 5speed with 2.75 geared ford 9in on bags will leave him behind in 2nd gear

  • @holden88s10

    no,no,no

    i stroked this motor

    its now a 3.4

  • @v6firebirdv6 it doesn't matter you still can't touch my s10

  • @holden88s10 If I had a turbo 22re maybe keep up, but the replacement for the rare turbo 22re is the 3.0l that is SLOW!!! I plan to do a SC 4.6/5.7 + 6 speed auto one day. Damn my runner is gonna be BEASTIN!!

505hp, and 550 ft lbs torque, DAMN!!! And all in a Jap/American motor.

  • @Motorfordtoyota I would put a hemi 5.7 in her with the 6 speed no stopping you then.. gonna twin turbo my 4.3 after i get internals got the block and heads machined .030 over bore heads taken to the limit gonna get some gmpp heads later on down the road but that will be after she is all built and running the road again gonna have my manual 3speed back she will be a tire eater again not just a door popper

  • @holden88s10 Oh NO NO NO. I would NEVER ruin my Toyota with a SHIT Dodge motor. It would be a Toyota 4.6 or 5.7 motor, or a Chevy 5.3 or 6.2!
