It's a funeral march, but what I hear more in it is the agony of those marching in the funeral. This is the best music ever composed, and I agree with MacavityF, the conductor is going too fast

This is a good example of the Rondo Form in a symphony. Sections one and two keep on coming 'round' again and again after a third section.
