Look up "Camaro SS .AND. ProCharger race valve" that's the way it's supposed to sound.

@joshtrejo Oooopppsss.... just realized these are not SC bypass valves but they are QTP cutouts. Awwww...... I get it now. Was wondering why the sound changed. Either way, I don't see the point on a BMW.

@calbert1999 because i wanted both quiet and straight pipe sound on a switch when i would race. here is a pic of my setup below. 250 progressive shot direct port nitrous. sounded way better in person, sounds shitty on video

@joshtrejo Yeah. Doesn't sound good at all online. I know the cutouts are expensive so usually done' for additionally unrestricted air flow = more hp's or way cool aggressive sound.

You need to open the garage when pressing gas, it lets off c02 to deadly levels.

Euro CSL is SMG only, no manuals which are in fact slower, call BMW tell motorwerks they used "the wrong tranny otherwise its a nice car"

I did similar bypass Rogue with the button in coin box & rasp pipe, software 7 color LED halo, CSL bumper with carbon fiber, etc.

yes the SMG can shift about 10% faster but still u have no 3rd pedal which is boring...thats why SMGs go for thousands less used...NO ONE WANTS THEM the manuals are more sought after. and yea race cars use A/T but there race cars. for a fast street car get a manual.

Forget $1100 muffler, keep the sleeper OEM M3 muffler. First do Sec II mid add $300 EDV = $850. Then if needed add Sec I rasp $550. Then Carbon Fiber CAI intake w/ Dinan ECU flash, then headers. Forget $20k stage1 TT kits! Buy a $19k M3 conv like we did.

were did you get the QTP one from I would like to look at it as well as the e-cut. I found the e-cut but can not find the QTP please help. I have a 2004 Mini Cooper S and want to have the stock sound and have the option to open the valve from in the car and kill a Honda S2000 or two with the extra hp I will gain.

I'm amazed you can get it to pass CA inspection. At least here that's one thing they look for! They'll let a harly go with straight pipes but bust cars for anything over 94db.

Amen. Have 3" 304ss pipes from Cup turbo back to 4" tip, test pipe.

Cat not required in OK state. No inspection now, scraped that ugly window sticker off. I still get $20 noise fine and circled like Rodney King with 6 black/white Hemi Chargers. I'm never asked to get out of car and walk line oddly, or even blow. Just flood & flashlight team all over & under car !

800 maybe 199 for qtp valve and 100 install with dump pipe and 350 for new x pipe

awesome; how much did the whole thing run [parts+install]? e-cutout is an awesome way to get a more aggressive sound, but retain the stock sound for daily driving :D
