At our Olive Garden we've had many dishwashers turn to servers, all you have to show is a good attitude, a dedication to grow and learn, and blah blah blah, a few months of that and you're in server class. Hell, we had a dishwasher turn to busser, to server, and to manager! And he was only 22yrs old. No raises either? That's sad, man, I'm sorry. We got raises every 6 months with our 6 month assessment.
