@icantchooseusername thats crazy man. i thought for sure it was presence. wish shannon was around to ask. =) i love bm so much. thanks for the video and the song anyway. good to talk to another fan. peace, dude!
The lake that Susan Smith drowned her 2 boys (Michael and Alexander) is called John D. Long lake. I live no more than 10minutes from it. It's really sad yes, but its a shame even further that that's all this place is known for. We have a 20% employment rate, almost everyone living here has to commute out just to find a job, but there are an overwhelming number of people that cant afford cars. So this town (Union, SC, in case you didnt care to look it up) is a death community.
My group and I are doing a 10 minute play called "If Susan Smith Could Talk" for class. We were doing some research on Susan Smith and stumbled upon this song. We've decided to play it while we're setting up and for the opening couple lines. We're very excited about it.
i first heard this on a compilation i had i know what your say about giving you the chills it was about that mother and her two sons ten feet away my daddy buries me ....whoa great song nonetheless
Bjork ripped off this tune in the song "hunter" from 1998 (car seat is from 1994)

This song would be about the Casey Anthony trial if it were today. Haunting and poignant song. RIP

I just realized you have the peom name wrong in the title. Its presence not presents.

@Discokid715 On my record it says God's Presents... What should it be? Presence seem to fit better but it says presents...

@Benjie1988 how'd it go?
Lukith66 1 year ago
@Lukith66 It was awesome! The audience was kind of staring at us wide-eyed, not sure if they should applaud. Intense script for such a short play!

@Benjie1988 good to hear it went well !

@Benjie1988 "Why mom? I thought I was your soldier." Accurate considering what she did to her kids....
