Why all of you made a comparation between violinist, thats the worts thing ever, you cant never say who plays best, Hilary Hahn plays likes Hilary Hanh, and Fischer like Fischer, you should apreciate the interpretacion, of all violinist and not been comparate between them, thats not professional of your part

besides some notes aren't correct in terms of intonation, whereas hahn plays this piece as nice as possible. my opinion.

Julia F. is twenty here,while HH is 28 in 2007. the older you are the more you understand that interpretation and feeling are at least as important as technique.

this is the best version of this wonderful piece that I've heard so far... I think Hilary Hahn's performance is to stiff and Kristof Barati's version is muuuuch too fast, the piece loses its magic....

The piece represents a chase in the middle of the night where death is trying to claim son of a terrified father. It needs to convey a frenetic feeling - which Hilary and Julia dont quite do, but Barati does swimmingly well. IMHO

sorry folks,,,this is the recording of a mere mortal,,the tempo is practically half that of Hilarys,,and as such has nothing of the excitement that that increased tempo along with the superhuman demands of negotiating technical demands makes ,,at this tempo,,I could play this ,this is a nice recording but make no mistake ,there is no comparision in any aspect with Hillarys,one is not aware there is any technical difficulty in Hillarys,,,where is this is merely a very fine recording,,wonderful,,,

Hilary is amazing! I think that the increase in intensity over the course of the entire piece (tempo, dynamics, etc.) sets this one apart from Hilary or anyone else I've seen.

Both are DEFINITELY worth watching!
