@PinkyPurply you can as long as you ALWAYS use it on the bipod for every shot because the point of impact changes if you are restricting the recoil or not

Air arms S400; amazing gun, got mine a few days ago in .177, puts pellets in the same hole @ 40yds light as a feather and powerful. I would definetly recommend it.

what would you do if you slip and drill 2mm right from where you want to drill and the bipod wonky on the stock? is there anyway of fixing the problem or a solution?

to all the people who talk about cruelty in using a legal limit air rifle to hunt with. power is nothng without accuracy. i have a s410 177, take only headshots at sensible range, and rarely wound. any hunter will no that wounding is inevitable and that all we can do is pout in the range time to minimise the risk. unless disciplined shooting is practiced, an fac rifle is jus gonna encourage people to take long shots beyond their capability, not a good thing. good vid by the way.

Don't bother mate i've got one its shit. Totally underpowered you'd be lucky to hit 11ft/lb. Not worth the money.

I would send it back to the RFD then because mine and the others S400's down the club are SPOT ON !! 11.5ft/lb and they do a FAC one too called the Xtra. The bipod looks like the Harris or maybe Deben, the Deben are cheaper but still great quality. Again- as far as the power goes, you can't have more than 12ft/lbs without FAC anyway

I've drilled out the anti tamper plate so i can turn up the power. Couldn't give a damn what the law says it's not like they are ever gonna test the rifle.

Educate us against what? We just don't want a nanny state. It's extremely cruel to hunt with a gun 12ft/lb's or under. Scotland are about to introduce a total ban on airguns.

Not if we can help it they won't!! We and the BASC are writing to MP/SMP's to protest against the ban.

Also I agree that 12ft/lbs is not high enough which is why I have FAC and Rimfires .22 producing over 130ft/lbs. Other countries have higher or no limits so why can't we?? PS: Nice youtube page you have BTW . :)

Extremely cruel? If you hit the wrong bit or start shooting quarry that's not suitable for an airgun maybe, but if you go for headshots on woodies/rats/rabbits etc at sensible ranges with an 11.5 ft lb airgun it is far from cruel. Believe me, a hole in the brain does not make the animal suffer.

you can get both .177 & .22 they are about 600 new last time i checked second hand they vary between 300-500 mine was 600 second hand but it has lots of upgrades ie. left hand thumb hole changed bolt so on.

try air gun bbs its a online market 4 guns u will need an account but its relativly easy to find a AA s410 as they are quite popular

I can't seem to get my s400 to fill above 170 bar. i would prefer it up to 200 bar.

the s400 is only suppost to be filled 2 190bar read the manual overfilleng can damage the cylinder

No mate it was because my divers bottle was running out. I'm new to PCP. I can now get it up to 200 bar which is it's max safe fill.

Mate you know that filling video you did? I just read the instructions and it says the gun is fitted with a safety device which makes the cylinder blow out at 250 bar then you have to buy a new cylinder. I think you were wise to remove it.
