  • If there is a place beyond EPIC, The Honeymooners and The Three Stooges are there!!

  • theres a lot of laurel and hardy there

  • I wish this show could have lasted. Not many episodes were made though. It was a short running series.

  • They just don't make shows like this anymore! Thanks for posting it!

  • 2:10

That's some stuff I do whenever I can

    LOL

  • how can anyone dislike this?

  • Then, shows were written to be funny. That's it. Now there has to be political correctness, a social agenda, and balanced demographics. I will take plain old silliness anytime. Also, a lot of humor is based on stereotypes--do away with that and humor loses its edge. Or, imagine if you had a minority playing Ed Norton, there would be protests that the show was making fun of .....

  • Funny "lost episode". (excerpt of "Peacemaker", one of the sketches which compares well to several from the filmed series, 1955-56).

Gleason shows a touch of Moe Howard, here and there.

Anyone out there in Television Land know if the *1957* version of "Manager of a Baseball Team" was ver issud commercially?

    Thanks.

    (How Sweet It Is!....).

  • It is so sad they cannot make sitcoms like this today. The problem with today's sitcoms is they try too hard to be funny. A good sitcom will build up to a funny moment. I think the last really good sitcom was Three's Company but even that show wasn't as good as the classics of the 50's and 60's.

  • @1129Irving

Prime-time sitcoms are now designed for Feminists. The demographic has completely changed in the last 20-25 years. The dominant male is long gone on this medium.

  • @ensconse I don't think it matters what demographic the comedy is aimed at. The sitcoms of today, simply, are not funny. Today's sitcoms have replaced humor with crassness. The 50's contained, what I consider, the best sitcom of all time - I Love Lucy. This show had a female lead, so I don't think the makeup of the characters is that important.

  • I could watch these guys 24/7. Pure genius.

  • Gleason & Carney, comedy gold!

  • 2:10

I would expect that from Ralph

    Ed usually isn't totally insane

    LOL

  • Check out the bedroom door almost falling down!

  • I love it; Norton sleeps with his hat on!

  • This scene was from the episode entitled "Peacemaker" filmed and broadcast on 3-5-55. It's one of the so-called Lost episodes, but to me every bit as classic as any Classic 39.

  • Funny no matter how many times you watch this classic show!!! Thanks for posting!

  • That was comedy. ... How can yo be afraid of one of the greatest television legends of all time..

  • Nobody could touch those two.

  • best comedy of all time.. you cant tell me norton and ralph arent the best.. ill debate it all day. best show and all 39 of them are funny as hell to this day

  • This is the true comedy

    CLASSIC

  • whats the name of the episode

  • Loved that show!

  • Did anybody notice how short the bed was? Also, Norton's mannerisms drive Ralph crazy, as usual. LOL

  • the bed isn't short. The video is just horribly squished.

  • To alleviate the squished view, add &fmt=18 to the URL of the video.

  • Norton wears his hat to bed. ;)

  • Gotta love it!

  • @mrwrister What if his head gets cold? You gotta think of things like that when you work in a sewer.

  • LOL so funny!

  • I agree! :)
