  • Great analysis, but the video is quite boring. 3/5

  • Great video, im not very into MMA Fighting but i practiced Karate Shotokan for many years and this guy is my favorite up there... Awesome video again!

  • tito sucks

  • when is this fight?

  • little bit over a year ago.

  • lyyyooootoooooooo the dradonnnn maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaachiiiiiiiiiiiiiidaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • The Machida Era Begins May 23rd!

  • DaFlound75, you were right lol.

  • Lyoto machida is the best

  • oh no Anderson Silva is the best had to throw that in there

  • vcs são bando de filho da puta varalhooo!!

  • Was 30-27, easy win for Machida, now with his first round knock out of Thiago Silva he still hasn't lost a round yet in the UFC

  • Man, I just saw the Machida-Ortiz. I hope Machida fights less defensively in future fights. Otherwise, he's gonna be the Pernell Whitaker of MMA. Ortiz made the fight. The super athletic Machida wanted to counter the entire fight. He rarely went on offense.

  • Abugrabit you are an idiot, you don't no shit about fighting. Some martial arts styles are counter fighting, and not getting hit.

  • You are a dumb fuck! You don't know shit about technique. People like you who fight, will get their ass knocked out like in 2 seconds!

  • Vai tomar no cú!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He uses Karate which is a masterful style for using counter-attacks, he also uses BJJ. His abilty to pull opponents into his rhythm is godly.

  • tito tito tito...you talk all that shyt before the fight but still get beat down? and to make matters worse you let this woman wind u so much u make a fool of yourself at the press confernce too? when you loose a fight its stupid to try and get play at the press confernce. think about it. loose this bitch fast and take a well deserved vacation to get your head cleared up.

Come back and fight in the UFC again on a undercard. win or loose the fight be humble after and keep your mouth shut.

  • tito thru that fight ..becuase of dana white and lack of pay

  • machida is in my top 3 favs

  • ortiz cant fight..blah,blah,blah..!

  • Machida made Ortiz look foolish...totally outclassed him. Ortiz had no business being in there...what an idiot...

  • tito loss so everybody knows

  • BJ is going to knock that roid head out in the 3rd round. Silva will knock out Jardin in the first round. Tito and Machida it's a toss-up because I think their taking it to the ground. Tito is stronger but Machida has the Skills.

  • dude your right man exept for the Tito machida match wheew

  • Yo!! that was a real good prediction!

  • machida will win by decision

  • both boring fighters.. but id say tito or machida only by desision... tito has experience..

  • Have u seen MACHIDA fighting before? If MACHIDA KO TITO..it was a lucky punch. If he beat TiTO by submission is because he got lucky. PEOPLE STOP MAKING UP THINGS AND FACE IT..MACHIDA GOT IT

  • i'd one again have to make my final prediction, as tito won't want to stand toe to toe with machida and get a kickboxing lesson, so he'll try to force the fight to the ground and get caught in an awesome submission, maybe machida will catch him with a triangle choke, or an armbar, i just see machida winning in r1 by submission.

  • the standing & boxing game: Machida will win since he's Karate guy :) but if Ortiz catch him ... Game over :) But this is a UFC so likely there'll be a take down game ... enough said, Tito will win with elbows raining down on Machida's face just like many other times :(

  • I think Tito takes it. Machida doesnt have the sprawl to avoid getting slammed on his head for 3 rounds. He hasnt got good enough power to KO Tito, and anytime he tosses a kick,I see Tito catching it,and putting him to the ground.

  • I have to go with tito on this one also. Machida has beat Penn and Franklin but is at least 20lbs heavier than both of them. Tito has had huge fights before so he will not be nervous. Machida has never had a fight on a stage this big before. TITO ALL THE WAY MUTHAFUCKAS!!!!!

  • Tito is a good fighter but if it goes to the grown i don't know man

  • machida to win. i dont see tito getting inside for the takedown, machida is the karate version of chuck (a counter striker). so everytime tito comes in machida will strike.

  • MACHIDA THE UNDEFEATED MONSTER

  • Tito has all the experience to show Machida what ground and pound is all about. I see Tito taking advantage of Machida's skills and taking the karate prodigy out in the 2nd round TKO.

  • Tito Ortiz is 16-5-1

  • Both Sherdog and Wiki have him at 15-5-1 and UFC has him at 16-5-1. I went with the consensus.

  • I see people talking shit about machida...Have u seen Machida fighting? He got crazy stand up and BJJ skills. Tito got no chance...a lucky punch maybe

  • Tito will kill him. The only chance Machida has is a submission or a lucky punch....!!!!!

  • I dont know how u like that soft modafucker...anyways have u seen Machida fighting lol..Tito got no chance baby

  • TITO SAID "PEOPLE THINK IM SOFT"...Y U THINK HE SAID THAT? HAHAHHAA....(HE BEAT THE OLD KEN BUT HE LOSE TO CHUCK 3 TIMES, COUTURE, FRANK)Tito is too soft for Machida.

  • hey dude relax you think machida is for couture or f. shamrock? tito is a real badass

  • Tito is so overrated who has he beaten that's good and not 45 years old? he beat Ken while hes age 45. he had a draw with Rashad when that fight was supposed to make Tito look good. he is ont a bad ass i have no respect for him he talks more shit then fights. Machida will rape him. maybe he hasnt beaten Couture, Liddel, etc but has beaten Rich Franklin and BJ Penn

  • agree but remember that tito has beat vitor belfort who -you have to admit- is 100% better than machida. from where i see it machida is on the level of thiago silva and such other fighters

  • this guy has no idea what he is talking about... first of all the fight will NOT be a standup battle, and tito is a good striker he just hasnt shown it against the best (liddell, couture). Secondly if the fight goes to the ground, tito has the strength to control it, machida doesnt have a great sprawl and will end up on his back. tito has a good sub. defense too so if there is a tko it will not be machida winning. machida is a good fighter but he has never fought anyone like tito. tito by ud

  • No one said it was going to be a complete stand up battle. In fact, it was described as being a seesaw batle, up and down.

Now feel free to continue with your man crush on Tito....

  • you are right my friend. i try to prove it to all the other jerks but they dont listen. 100% agreed tito is the real deal

  • @natelpete lol you were so wrong

  • Machida late 2nd early 3rd submission

  • ortiz is too strong to be cached in a sub

  • well, Sam Greco is stronger than Tito and Lyoto would have gotten an armbar on him had it not been for the ropes. Don't be so sure about everything and don't be so narrow minded.

  • i'm not narrow minded but i try to convince you guys that tito is the original force into the ufc. machida is a very talented kid and can have a brilliant future in mma but not now cuz he is fighting the Hunighnton beach bad boy

  • not many have thought so, but i personally think machida is the better grappler than tito and will put tito on his back in this fight and submit him with an arm triangle or something. machida is a bad matchup for tito in that he is the superior kickboxer and has a versatile judo and jiu jitsu background.he will throw tito to the mat and crank his arm, and tito will tap. tito was top 5 forever but the new breed of skills and fighters are passing him up. he was the best years ago, i admit.

  • sherk/penn... ends 2nd rnd--- injury! sherk!

ortiz/machida... ends 3rd rnd--- submission machida!

  • sherk/penn agreed and i wish you are true cuz i dont like penn

    ortiz/machida only in your dreams

  • Tom Waits!

  • lyoto does seem like the future of the sport though - can't wait.

more about the finishing thing. remember when fedor bashed the heck out of goodridge and damaged his hands (think that was the fight) anyway after that he used his hands but as a way of getting an edge and finished other ways

  • excellent analysis.

'machida not being a finisher' - i don't totally agree. he's just more into winning than going for the KO - that is to say that he IS very dangerous.

DANA picked the best unknown striker cause he's a petty little man and he wants ortiz to lose to a nobody on his exit. tito looked great against evans

and neither dominated and the ufc fans didnt get their quota of blood squirting - but ortiz is still elite.

  • as much as i like tito his is one of my favorite ufc fighters but i think tito may lose his mind is not where it used to be

  • Machida is undefeated in MMA,so i have to go with Machida, dont argue..after watching most of Machida's fight im 100% sure Machida will win

  • Tito is great at takedowns and Lyoto is great at avoiding threats by backing away. I believe Lyoto will land more kicks and counterpunches. I also believe Tito will take him down, but will be unable to do much damage. Lyoto will win a decision.

  • Tito's definitly got to prove that he's still the HB bad boy in this fight. I like both styles and fighters but are leaning towards tito to come out on top. If Machida can keep the fight standing it will be to his advantage but i dont put machida on par with Chuck or Randy where they had control over tito. may the best man win

  • yeah but either tito lose or win he will lave ufc thats what pisses me off

  • Machida thrives on opponents who press the action and come forward. Machida loves fighting people who come forward constantly and press the action.

  • I agree with a lot of what you said, lyoto has a lot of power in his round house kicks. I believe he finished his fight against Dimitri because of all those kicks he landed. Dimitri took a lot of body kicks and could hardly stand in the third round because he got all the wind knocked out of him. You know your mma

  • aGREE

  • Good review!

  • i dont think so that machida can ko or tko tito but i agree that he's dangerous on his back. from where i see it this gonna be a split decision for machida although i love tito's fighting style cya

  • I think it unlikely either can TKO each other, although I would give Machida the better chance to do so because of his kicks..

  • tito is a very strong kid. machida's kicks would not be such a problem for him. what i consider "dangerous" is his ground game especially his submission skills. on the other hand though tito is the master of ground n' pound. who knows? but other than that i dont wanna tito leave ufc anyway. how about you my friend?

  • Tito is indeed a strong kid. However, a foot to the jaw is a pretty good antidote to that. Machida really rocked Rich Franklin with one of his kicks and immediately dropped a wobbly Ace with a right hook as a follow up to that kick (if memory serves me correctly). But like I said, I think it unlikely either of them is going to be TKO'd in a standup fight.

And like you, I don't want to see Tito leave but it looks like it's a done deal based on Tito's public comments of late.
