Also, don't bash Billy Talent, they can be bad-ass when they're actually playing punk instead of shit alternative.

As for Offspring, Pretty Fly remains one of their smartest songs even if many old-school fans consider it an abomination.

Sorry to tell ye but Green Day are punk. Punk isn't a sound or a fashion statement it about not giving a shit about other people think of you. Green Day have this down to a tee. When they went to change their name from Sweet Children to Green Day they were told that the couldn't as know would know that it was them. They did it any ways and didn't affect that much. Signing to a major record label the got the shit for that too.
