  • Great film. Different generations each had their "Batman vs Joker". I grew up watching Batman 60s (syndicated in the 80s). Reading the DK when it first came out. Then all films afterwards. These characters are now as Iconic as Robin Hood and Dracula. People will always use them to tell tales for the current day audience, and revise them accordingly. It's testament to how timeless these characters are.

  • Wow..I was on the heels of my feet the whole time.!!

  • The batman in this movie made Christain Bale look like he was going to a costume party. This production was top notch and the next series of Bat movies should look like this. This is as close to the Alex Ross version of Batman that I have seen. Two thumbs way up.

  • good production quality, but the Joker was WAY off, it's important to get the right actor with range for that role

  • @actorbrian Your a Ledger fan huh?

  • This was down right excellent...one of only a few great superhero fan films I've seen and thoroughly enjoyed. To the producers....Great job!

  • really cool fan film, could of done with out the camp retard version of the joker though

  • This is very, very well done

  • Unpopular opinion: Heath leager sucked as the joker.

  • spoilers or not.

i knew the kid was a bomb but then i was like wtf why the joker is with him?! then he got out. AAAAAAAAAAA.

  • "Why didn't you save my parents?" Makes top 10 best Batman movie lines in my opinion.

  • you should have got Mark Hamill for the Joker

  • 7:42 still think batarangs are dumb?

  • The ONLY think I would 'change' about the batsuit is lose the 'tightie whities' - as DC 52 did for us ALL (that was a horrible 'gift' of the times from the 40s when Batman was created, whoEVER thought it was a GOOD idea and looked good for boys entertainment and a bad butt crime fighter in a bat costume) I mean its hard enougb to get across a purpose to him dressing like a bat! & I'd add a bigger more voluminous cape&thin plates of armor that DON'T COVER his bulk but accentuate it. U guys?

  • interestingly enough one of t he "fakest" things aBOUT the Joker and Batman and their endless battle over good and evil and the war for 'the soul of Gotham' as the Joker put it in the Dark Knight - the "fakest" thing about it IS the ability for the Joker to continuoously escape as he does & end up back on the street. There no way! He woulda either been EXECTUED (FINALLY) or shipped off to an 'Alcatrez' in a black location that cant' be found on a map. We HAVE a death penalty!! Why NOT kill him!

  • @WhiteMagicEnygma I think its because the Joker is considered to be mentally ill with insanity to blame for his actions.

  • @kellysgreeneyesx3 thank you for your reply. You are quite impressively beautiful. I'm vedry proud to be fan of a character and genre that also pulls in the fanship of not only a female(!!) but also a young and beautiful one such as yours! So are you a fan - I take it? Did you like the Dark Knight and will your see The Dark Knight Rises? Y or Y not? Just curious if you feel like entertaining my questions with answers. Thanks.

  • @WhiteMagicEnygma Aww thank you. Yes I am a huge Batman fan. I loved the Dark Knight it is one of my favorite movies. The Joker is my favorite villian and Ledgers impression of him was flawless. I am very excited to see the Dark Knight Rises.

  • @kellysgreeneyesx3 I"m only tellin the truth! And yes of course you are right about Ledgers Joker. Wanna know the funny thing tho? Even tho I followed Batman for as long as I can remember, DEEP in to my childhood, I never ONCE even HEARD of let alone had SEEN Ledger beFORE the Dark Knight. The first time I heard of him was when I heard the casting decision for THe Joker, istn that crazy. Listen this is my 2ndary username. The primary with my vids is; Cubbiebear1980 add me and chec out my reviews

  • @kellysgreeneyesx3 here I am Beautifuol. This is my primary Youtube account. Def add me and check out my vids and reviews if you are interested. I'd love to hear from you. yours Cubbie

  • Perfectly executed piece of art.

    Love it!

  • This was BRILLIANT!!!! BRAVO!!!!

  • amazingly written and executed

  • did you knew that the joker Tba’s PEPOLE???

  • 5:31 "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!"

  • wow

  • I am gobbstopped at this ... you all did an amazing job with this film! it is truly a testament to all fanfilmmakers everywhere... Thank you for this and i hope to see more!!! :D

  • Bravo! What every superhero should reconsider. When does the need to protect the many finally force you to make the hard decision? How many lives would have been saved if Batsy or Superman had taken out some of the master criminals? The innocent lives are partially their fault as well.

  • i thought he was peeing on him in the beginning

  • i see Takis, and yes I'm Mexican

  • 00:02 O.O

    00:17 :o *sigh

  • Meh. Bob Kane's origional Batman would have Shot him.

  • @sldrmdc Do you have a point? NOT being a smart tail, I'm literally asking b/c You just made a single stand alone-ish statement and I'm wondering is there more to it morally or otherwise. ME personally I think Batman is a complete pussy when it comes to killing the Joker. As I said in my comment, doohde, ok check this otu. Batman basically bends and BREAKS the law as an OUTlaw when brining in criminals. Ok he "arrests" just as cops do physically. The DEATH penalty is LEGAL 2 why not to THAT here

  • How were you able to film at a carnival? Did you need to pay a fee or something?

  • i love bomb pops

  • 6: 27 Batman got sponsored

  • Why doesnt Batman kill the joker, I never got it...i mean Batmans merciful, but still

  • Well done! Carry on doing what your doing, you have caught the dark tone and style of Batman just right. Bob Kane would have liked it...

  • Sorry but i disliked the joker alot in this

  • Nice job, and what if that boy could be Robin later on!!! Wooooo you never know!! Ha

  • @Dehumanizer3000 He'd have to be Jason Todd's Robin though.. Dick wasn't that dark :L

  • @Dehumanizer3000 Also, Dick Grayson is in the second one as Nightwing

  • the frozen man looks like christian bale

  • @TheSinsterminster if only

  • This was the best Batman fan film I have seen so far and certainly a great film on its own. The Joker wasn't perfect but he managed to not be over the top for once. Great job.

  • just a follow up thought: what if Batman begins a killing spree?

  • ACID PISS

  • @Ellsior

    XD

  • I dunno why, but this Joker reminds me of Ralph Finnes.

  • Q: Would I kill my parent's murderers?

    A: Batman.

Talk about a shitty ending. :D

  • @Jaygull

Was thinking the same thing! LOL

  • This guy doesn't have the right tone of voice to be the Joker, very good effort though, and a fantastic fan film.

  • "Why didn't you save my parents?"

    "....fuck you, kid."

  • This is some very high quality work!!!! Hope to see more soon!

  • The production values for this Batman fan flick are outstanding, but I think the Dark Knight story adaptations should eventually become less stylised, and instead opt for a more pulp fiction CSI Detective episodic visualisation.

  • The Joker's zebra mask got smaller between 2:23 and 2:33

  • I'm not saying I don't lik ethe Dark Knight but this is fucking amazing!

  • the actor that played joker was amazing whats his name? does he play in real movies just tjis one cuz this movie was awesome

  • The bat suit looks great and the production values are really good overall, but the writing was kind of stilted and just plain awful in some places. The acting wasn't all that great either. I get that they're going for a gritty feel, but actors still need to speak with emotion. I'm not trying to bash the guys who made this or anything because I'm sure it took a lot of time and hard work, but it does have some flaws. I really hope they learn from their experience and can continue to make movies.

  • If younger folk knew what it was like to not have youtube around. Been a Batman fan since 1966 and to have things like this to watch at home now. How great is youtube, how great are those that made this film. I'd say make it a TV show, but it's already here on the computer. Thank you. My only critque is the camera is too shaky sometimes. I wanna see ! Great costume, great Bat-physique, great fighting.

  • its no chris nolan batman but sure beats the hell outta the joel schumacher versions (although batman forever was a kickass). yall shouldve gotten a show for this

  • i thought he was pissing of him at the begginng

  • Should be a story teller lol

  • Man the Joker shou

  • If the peole that mde this had the budget they could make the greatest Batman movie ever. The actor that played Joker was amazing and everything he did is something the Joker would have actually done in the comicbooks. People like this should be the ones to direct comicbook movies. Hollywood tries to win us over with over the top special effects. This was only about 30 minutes and it kicked ass much ass if not more than the Dark Knight movie. BRAVO. BRA - FUCKING- VO. Make this a TV show!!!!

  • this movie is LEGEN...wait for it...DARY! It reminds me of arkham asylum game, this is the way the goddamn batman is supposed to be! Great job guys! This batman is badass :)

  • weres gordon?

  • @I2ecca i think that anyone who's ever played batman shits all over george clooney

  • Absolutely ASTOUNDING. Warner Brothers, it amazes me that talent like this can stand toe to toe with you and in my estimation surpass you is design, style and casting. AWESOME!!!!!!!! LOVED IT! I'd take this Batman over any that Warners Brothers has put out to date! Warners Brothers Take Notice. THIS IS WHAT WE FANS WANT NOT YOUR STOMPING ON The True BATMAN!

  • Also, Joker in the Ice-cream Van reminded me of Sweet Tooth of Twisted Metal...i wonder which one is more sadistic...In adition, look at the dead guy on 1:01...he looks like Christian Bale!

  • See, folks. THIS is why hundreds of millions of dollars can't make a proper film, without the right emotion & drama, like this production has...If Batman were real, we would have been proud of this.

  • why is it that every good joker character has to die i hope this guy doesn't go insane

  • See?! This is what hollywood needs to learn. The last two Batman movies had some redeeeming qualities, but they could take a lesson from this one. Being without super powers, Batman is a real as a comic book hero can be. The movies need to be like this one, close to the street, not over the top, very real.

    Excellent job to all involved!

  • OMG!!! That was amazing!!!

  • Great work on the film! It must have been a lot of hard work and it seems to have paid off!!

  • OK....I WANT THE BIKE!! better than that Dark Knight one...

  • this guy who played batman. shits all over george clooney! :D

  • I find most questions can be answered with Batman. :)

  • Jokers the best villain ever the BatBike is awesome

  • Out of all Batman big screen movies since 89 and up this one came THE closest to the look and feel/tone of the comics..especially the DC 70'

    s period

  • Awesome!

  • damn, that was really good. i hope they add some of the moral shit from the end of this into the next big movie.

  • when i clicked on this i thought it would be cheap and lazily done but this had everything, city view cameras, exelent costumes and special effects and a great story. i think instead of the dark night they should have made a proffesional version of this. closer to the original comics

  • he fucking bit the popsicle! thats gonna hurt!

  • @cfsvillanueva I read that before i watched the clip.... it sounded so wrong XD

  • Is it weird that I wanted the Joker to win? That Kid was just so annoying

  • Badasss Joker you got there *thumbs up*

  • I take back my comment on the first part... sorta. It still takes it's self a little too seriously, but the Joker was done well. Just the right amount of funny to balance out the scary. I woulda liked to have seen him in a purple version of that suit of his, but still.

  • great job although i dont think you captured the complete craziness of the joker like arkham asylum did but for a fan made movie it was excellent

  • you guys have to make a second part of this :)

  • Favorited!

  • This video was really good and so was the first one they. Batman was a good actor in this video

  • This actor is Batman. The best ever!!!!!!

  • The batman is good, the whole story is good but the joker doesnt fit in too good,he acted good but he just seemed a bit off.Great job and im really interested in more.

  • poor harley

  • I want to see this as an HBO Series....with an HBO budget......same Batman actor and Writer as in this film.

  • Great Completion to a Masterpiece.

  • the ending was deep.

  • I hope that Joker

returns ( he all ways does)

Becuse batman is not a batman whitout Joker!!!

  • LOL I THOUGHT JOKER WAS PEEING ON HIM till i saw the flower :D

  • Is this Joker actor the one that died about a year ago?

  • @ilovekane19 No he is not..Heath Leadger (died 2008)...who plays Joker on The Dark Knight...or you may mean Andrew Koenig(died 2010) who plays Joker in Batman Dead End and also died ? maybe the 2nd one...

  • @72Christos72 Second one.

  • @72Christos72 this joker is a third actor who fortunately for him and his fans is still living and breathing today is "Paul Molnar". he worked on/ with other movies like chronicles of narnia.

  • @72Christos72 wats batman dead end??

  • @V3NoMxDaPoiiZ0N 2003 Fan Film. Directeed by Sandy Collora starring Clark Bartram as Batman & Andrew Koenig as The Joker. The story it's impressed by Batman/Aliens & Batman vs. Predator Comic Book, published by Dark Horse in association with DC COmics inc. :)

  • @72Christos72 y does everyone who plays the joker die

  • @rocky1399 Two of many actors played Joker died yet...~

  • @ilovekane19

    are you retarded

  • I don't want to be a hater, but.... joker should've lived; batman would've never thought what he thought at the ending of the video; and people are scared of the joker, why didn't they run when they first saw a glimpse of him?

But personally, this was an okay video.

Sorry if I'm being such a hater. I literally know Batman, inside and out.

  • @nacy21595 well who knows maybe there will be a sequel.

  • nice job, but u should have let the joker live, i mean, he could not die just like that...

  • Haha. I like how it looks like the Joker's urinating on the guy, but it's really the flower. That was funny.

I won't deny it, that was my first thought - even though the Joker's supposed be a classy kind of madness.

  • I like it!

How did you finance this film?

  • looks, alright, except for the fact batman has binoculars, somehow it seems lame, also the suit dosen't work as good in real life as it did in arkham asylum. Fantastic filming though and really dark which is good.

  • Not bad for an amateur production. Over the top in some ways, but comic books usually are.

  • kinda sucked.

    music, characters...acting.

    just was bad.

  • @ 72christos72 when you uploaded part 2 you left out the original song in the end credits titled City of Scars along with a montage of awesome stills from the film.

  • @Spinitch628 Yup I'm Planning to upload the ending titles too..till that I have upload the Official Music video :]

  • CAPTAIN AMERICAN? 5:03

  • That was awesome. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that Joker died in the end. Joker's the anti-Batman, the yang to Batman's yin. If this were to be turned into a series, I think that the Joker would have to still be alive to be featured in more episodes. Nevertheless, great job though! I loved the actor who played Batman, and all the props/gadgets. Good stuff!

  • 0:16 thank god. i thought the joker was pissing on him at first lol

  • @SpiderFan23

The way they shot that seen was awesome.

  • THIS IS AMAZING...This felt like a REAL movie...and i hate to say it but it was much grittier than the NOLAN pictures...those are great but if Nolan drops out after part 3 this would be the best direction for the franchise. Everything was shot/directed/and acted SOOOO WELL BRAVO. Thoroughly entertaining, ...SOMEONE GIVE THESE GUYS A BIG BUDGET AND A FULL LENGTH MOVIE....I dont even wanna call this a fan film thats insulting!!! GOOD JOB!

  • in the very begining....did anyone else think the Joker was peeing on him?

  • @flunky70s That was the joke, sooo yeah.

  • Marilyn Manson? Is that you?

  • Lol I guess in real life people would pull out their camera phones if they saw batman beating ass.

  • Did anyone else shout "HE'S NOT ON THE FARRIS WHEEL!"?

  • Loved it!!!!!

  • 00:09 I thought he was pissing on that guys face

  • This is the best fan made shortfilm of Batman.

    1. Nolan

    2. This

    3. Burton

    4. Schumacher

    5. West

  • @qwuezalothus Nolan first? How old are you?...

  • @carl110989

    Tell me first yourself!

  • realy awsome job

  • OMG! NEVER SEEN THAT END COMING!!!!!! Pure AWESOME! PURE DEEP BATMAN STORY :))))))))

  • Bravo! Amazing work! I can just wish it was feature length, 'cause I want more!

  • Nice Film mate. I think it would tie in to the comics nicely.

  • 5 STARS!

  • woooooooooooow i saw 5 times !!!!!!one behind others the things he said are just.........i have no right words but until i'll live i will always by his side !!!!!i swear !!!!!!i grew up me and for me batman is my reason to live .......great job ,really !!!!!!!just like legends!!!!!!!he's right after all who has not scars?but not everyone would fight like he does............thanks batman ....for alll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is worthy of Nolan material. The acting, art direction and ending were utterly mind blasting. Bravo!

  • for a minute there I thought the Joker was peeing all over that guy

  • had the same tone as batman dead end, good job

  • at 00:01 to 00:20 I thought he was peeing on the guy

  • "Hey dude, if you could go back in time and kill your parents killer, would you?" "batman."

  • @BasilBannana hahaha thats awesome

  • Ta melhor que o batman Returns :)

  • Just watched both parts of this. It is, without a doubt, the best Batman fan film I have ever seen. Congratulations to everyone involved. This is an amazing piece of work.

  • ha ha i thought joker was pissing on him at first!

  • great job. I too would love to see what you guys could do with a serious budget.

I just wish you would get someone else for Mr. J

That guy has the worst joker voice/laugh/mannerisms.

  • Near flawless

  • what the name of the club song

  • @art0904 CITY OF SCARS (DANCE MIX)

    Performed by Madelynn Rae

  • @72Christos72 wow so i think you did an amazing job with this short. like in a way you answered alot of questions that people may have been wondering after watching the actual movies with christian bell. you get my thumbs up for this vid :D

p.s. i subscribed, i hope to see more from you in the future.

  • the joker was horrible looking but otherwise very cool

  • Some days you just cant get reid of a bomb

  • I really enjoyed your short film keep up the good work can't wait to see more.

  • The visuals are spot on in everything of the comic and all, but the script is...

Well lets say this, if you dont really know Batman, the script is flawless.

  • @hipnosapista The script is fine. It's the acting and the way they filmed the action scenes that I'm not not crazy about. but its a good film, despite those flaws

  • @fwwaller everyone will have thier opinions. Sorry to be a hater xD, as I said, I think most if not all the visuals were spot on to me, but I also feel its a very childish interpretation of Batman´s psicological side. I think he is much stronger in his beliefs than what this movie shows, that why for me, the script is very cool if you know Batman only as the surface idea, or if you know him more deeply but are willing to let pass the fragililty in which his psyche was portraited.

  • Oh MY GOD!!!!! I'm speechless!! This is so so so awesome! The music, the montaz, the senario, the direction, the portraiture of the Gotham characters, Batman's inner monologue, the Joker, Harley, Scarface, Gotham people, meaning of justice and our choices... This short film thrilled me!!!! Great work! :)

  • Worse than Nolan, but better than Burton.

Best shortfilm I ever saw about a live Batman. Respect to the director of it!

  • @qwuezalothus Worse than Nolan? So are you saying Nolan is bad? Way wrong, dude....

  • @qwuezalothus hmm, I like Nolan's films too (though I wouldn't jump the gun and say I love the trilogy for obvious reasons, especially since third films are almost never not very good) but I wouldn't go so far to say that they are perfect. I mean for starters, there are too many deviations (not that that's necessarily a bad thing) from the comic, such as the batmobile, Rachael Dawes, the Joker. And honestly there are some elements that I dislike, cont..

  • @kaseysospacey especially the whole symbol-obsession, and of course that bat-voice. Now, this movie is pretty epic in my book, although as is expected there are flaws (that kid couldn't act for shit). Honestly, despite some of it's indie weirdness (all that background time spent on extras in the club and fair for instance) It is probably the most faithful batman movie I've seen (Joker's death notwithstanding). Though by no means would I call it the best, it simply wasn't as well made.

  • @kaseysospacey btw How can you say that Schumacher's films are better than the 60s show/movie. sure the show was silly, badly written, acted out by hams, and really not at all batman, but it was still better than the two steaming piles of shit that Schumacher left all over the mid 90s. Honestly I always found it entertaining as a sort of unintentional parody.

  • @kaseysospacey

No! A comicbook never copys from the sorcematerial, but gives a realistic interpretation of those things in the real world. You have to see, what's the point of those things, keep their most important essential propertys, and make them lifelike, independent from the CGI.

For example: a realistic Superman we have to know exactly how his superabilities are funktioning.

If you don't like realism in comicbook-movies, your not self-critical enough. Adultmovie or nothing.
