It's legit just capture Iuso's ship in Polaris space and he has heaps of stuff. Don't need escorts.

lolz i tried to do it unregistered in the vell-os storyline with an arrow and no escorts (all of the escorts you can get are worthless) spent an hour and a half running away and wearing down their missiles and killing em... and died to an ion cannon of a fed carrier as it was exploding -.- should I upload the video? lolz.

Hmm, the Raven seems to have better sheilds than I remember.

Regardless, I still prefer a Rebel Dragon: carrier class for my polaran games. There's just so much weapon space on that baby I can't pass it up.

the raven comes with a quick supply of energy, it recharges quite fast. thanks to maybe an extra matter/antimatter reactor, and you got alot. its just simple :3

go beat up pirates in fed space... a ton of pirates.

Pirate strings starts from the main planet in the Tichel system, you need some combat experience... and you can't have started any of the other main story lines (auroran, rebel, fed, polaris, and vellos)

Nice. I just took over earth using a Pirate Starbridge and 6 Pirate Valkyries so I'm pretty proud of myself even if it is a cowards way. Total time was 45 mins.

go get the escape velocity classic plug-in. its the very first one escape velocity. was only in mac. and also ev override. ev override is frigin hard. and damn well balanced. while the very first one is probably the best. matt burch in the first one can be whooped. not easyly. but you can kill him. and the kestrel is not as cheated as in nova. you guys should try it. heh its older so there is leass weapon outfit. ofcourse. but i still think it outgun nova.

Try using Vell-os. Yeah, they don't have great ships, but unloading Winter Tempest even for a split second on your enemy is pretty much instant death, which is awesome. The problem is it drains a lot of energy, so you need to be sharp and use a hit and run strategy, but the point is it can be done.

I agree. I wish they had toned downed the ridiculousness of the Polarans a bit. There's definitely something very wrong when a tiny little 1Mil. Striker can blow a 15 Mil. Heavy Missile Variant Fed Carrier into space junk in a matter of a few seconds.

Guyslade, the Dev team that made this game have said on a number of occasions that the game will NOT be online as they would have to remake the game engine which NONE of them want to try and do.

game got some major balancing issues as you can see. i can help out balancing game. if the lazy programers whants to remake the bible. exemple. not being able to upgrade already upgraded ship class. would make sense. and also making the ai of some escorts class more intelligent. like when they shoot torpedos. they try staying away from them. instead of fallowing them. and increase reload time of some beams. like the capacitor pulse. and winter tempest.

what i meant not beaing able to upgrade an upgraded ship is. get a class 4 valkyrie.

then you should be unable to get sigma shipyard upgrades. it would add a text such as. im sorry man i can't upgrade this monster. its allready maxout. if i force things it will fall apart."
