May I ask if you have ever been incarcerated? Have you ever sat in a T-dormitory with HO4 and HO5 level inmates? I would ask you please think about what you are suggesting. Granted, some officers (in any branch of law enforcement) are not OUTSTANDING people or "beyond reproach"...but a GREATER number of convicted felons are not in prison for singing too loud in church. And, as I have been a corrections officer for some years, there are alot of inmates who are sadly unsalvagable.

No disrespect, but most C.O.s wouldn't ever admit to this fact. It doesn't have to be an inmate; this same observation can and is made on child molesters. Most were at one time molested themselves, check the stats. A child grows up in a hostile environment, so he or she takes it out on classmates. Even road rage is due to how people feel they are being treated. Maybe you haven't, but you at least know a co-worker that's taken his frustrations out on the job. I've been locked-up before.

Sometimes "simplified" is the best approach towards gaining and sharing knowledge and\or understanding. Yes, there are many people who refuse to change, but most inmates dream of a better life. I've done a lot of things in my teens that I probably should still be in jail for, but if there's one thing that I can attest to, is that real "thugs' hate the life of being a thug. It's ironic that it only takes the jail about 30 minutes to process in to jail, yet it could take them all day to release you, even after the judge has granted you freedom.
