  • Ok smoking cigars occsionally is fine ans fun but these guys are taking a really bad habit to far.

  • @kekons23 its still better that cigarettes, there are no chemicals added to cigars

  • im going to be a new cigar smoker and these guys are giving good tips this is going to be cool

  • I know a smoke shop around my area that sells 3 for $0.99. Would that be good or bad? It's in my price range though.

  • @JRSanchez93 thats going to be machine made which if you like that then good for you but there are tons of handrolled cigars for only 5 bucks and check cigars online

  • guy in the white suit reminds me of colin mocharie

  • i went in a humidor for the first time today, i'm a big dude and almost knocked everything over. holy shit this place is huge!

  • Cigar selection sucks in Canada and can't import any by law.

  • JFK was cunning buying up all the cubans before putting in effect the Cuban BAN

  • argh I passed this place in NY and didn't go in!

    WHYYYYYYYYY????

  • I Just turned 18 what's the best cigar out there

  • @MrTravi94 If you can't buy Cuban cigars, then I'd suggest you to pick a Corona from VegaFina they're mild and tastes sweet ;)

  • I grow my own havana

  • @mogges1 Then it isn't Habanos anymore xD

  • Hell I roll my own cigars.

  • Went there last spring before I seen this video. Thumbs up

  • @DatsKuBrah

    Thumbs up my ass.

  • I didn't know Jonathon Frakes owned a cigar shop.

  • if your starting out start with a lighter colored cigar trust me the dark ones are stronger

  • thumbs up if u noticed the guy with the pinkish shirt wasnt wearing a belt ... it just looked weird

  • I wish these guys were my best friends

  • That shop must smell ....godlike *_*

  • My friends birthdays comin up and I want to get him something special. Are there any cigars in the £20/25 range? I already got him something quite expensive so I can't blow too much on a cigar, but it would still be nice to have a little something extra.

  • I want one!

  • This points out EXACTLY why I chose to pickup a cigar... When I see someone smoking a cigar, they are either experienced, economically powerful, or very classy, or a combination of the three. My favorite brand is Gurkha bur Macanudo doesn't fall far behind ;)

  • @ClassyMetalGent enjoy cancer!

  • this makes me want to smoke a very nice cigar

  • I wish I was a baller.

  • "Don't touch it by the head, that's where someone else's mouth is going to go" ... How could he say that without laughing?!

  • 8-5-8 means DELICIOUS ;D

  • loved this video and your totally right ive had some La Aurora Preferidos and although they were really good there not my everyday cigar because they are really expensive but my baccarat 5x50 ( nat ) and some la campina's are almost as good to me but totally affordable

  • i don't know anything about cigars really except you don't inhale them, why is this? and do you not get a buzz from them? and if anybody knows do you get buzzed of pipes?

  • @bamafb77563

cigars and pipes are the same you just puff them and enjoy the aroma. That's what they do which is why you don't inhale, that's all they're used for. Some more expirienced smokers do choose to inhale it but they are mainly used for an aroma that you like and a taste you like with a strength that you can handle. I know about cigars but have never smoked one so the only thing I don't know of is if you do get a buzz. But I'm pretty sure you don't do to not actually inhaling.

  • @mooseman1231 It is however way harder to light, smoke and keep a pipe lit, than it is a cigar...

  • @bamafb77563 the buzz is the equivelent of smoking 10-20 cigarettes at once depending on the cigar, it's too much for most people to enjoy but I like them. I don't smoke cigarettes because they contain over 50% reconstituted tobacco which is essentially tobacco flavored paper, fire retardants, fiber glass, and other all around unpleasant substances while a handrolled cigar is (typically) all tobacco leaf the way nature intended.

  • Thumbs up if you love cigars and that walk-in humidor gave you a hard on. lol

  • At 3:17 did anyone else say to them selves "wtf what number is dat"

  • I went to a so called cigar shop with a walk in humidor, and they had some quality Padron cigars in the glass cases, however, I failed to take notice that the glass cases did not have their own humidifier within. Needless to say, my cigar was dry as ever and the wrapper cracked upon cutting the cap, never making that mistake again...

  • i love hoe cigars are comeing back into style

  • I have never had a cigar. Is it a idea to buy one Cohiba Behike BHK 52? i mean if i dont like that one i better give up right?

  • @mathijs91

No. That's not the right angle to take. Just because it is one of the more expensive cigars doesn't mean it is right for you. I would recommend the Montecristo No.4. It is a great size (not too big), so easy to handle for a newcomer and tastes fantastic. Something like a Cohiba Behike BHK 52 would only be fully appreciated by the more experienced palette. Other cigars that I recommend for a beginner are - H.Upman Corona Junior, Montecristo No.5 and Partaga Short. hope this helps :)

  • @tomorocko you're right, I smoke the montecristo no.4 and the partagas and really enjoy them, I would recommend 'Trinidad' and 'hoyo de Monterrey epicure no.2' amazing, not very strong but the flavours are very easy to appreciate on the go, without being 'light' nor 'cigarette like'; unlike many Nicaraguan, Dominican and Mexican cigars I've tried.

and am not saying that non-cuban cigars are inferiors.

  • @dcdanniel *-s

had lots of booze before commenting.

  • @mathijs91 wow!, a BHK 52 will probably make you sick if you don't smoke cigars regularly, I do smoke cigars every now and then but a BHK 52 is a rather flavoursome cigar, which I'd rather smoke after I become an experienced and serious cigar smoker (my very personal opinion though). Enjoy the cigars that you like best, if you don't enjoy certain cigars which are deemed 'for connoisseurs' don't worry, smoke what you enjoy best and try different things.

  • Fuck New York come to the t dot and smoke some Cuban cigars

  • Oh my gosh I would be in heaven in that place!

  • Wish there was a place like this in N Ireland :(

  • my very first cigar that i'd smoked was a Nicaraguan cigar offered to me by an American artillery lieutenant when i was in the USA in the mid-1980s.

    great stuff.

  • Each cigar must have a $4 surcharge to afford that location

  • holy tight pants, billy!

  • 0:12 - 0:13 GEO F TRUMPER, in a cagar shop! heaven

  • the cigar is the fine wine and the cigarette is the cheap beer

    make your choose

  • @choas1211 the cigarette is more like a knife to the head rather than a cheap beer...

  • Can anyone here tell me if Avanti Cigars, out of PA are considered mild? Or, what is considered mild in general? Thanks.

  • @gbinct I think a determining factor in how strong a cigar is would be how light the wrapper of the cigar is. Hope I'm right and hope that helps.

  • @gbinct the shade of the wrapper doesnt necessarily denote strength. thats usually the case because thats how they are usually blended. That said, i recently had an Ashton maduro and it was rather mild (much to my dismay). But for the most part you are correct.

  • Great video!

  • i keep waiting for gordon mott to ask, "will it blend?"

  • looking forward to trying my first cuban sampler this weekend.

  • good but not quite al remp

  • Looks like I'm heading up to Manhattan, wearing a nice suit, and smoking an Oliva Serie V Torpedo with these gentlmen in the lounge.

  • why don't they have a stamp on the box that indicates when it was made?

  • thanks to the 1 dislike of the video the bar looks like a newly lit cigar

  • I haven't smoked a cigar since 1998.

  • Thumbs up for the stellar jazz music

  • Nobody takes cigar breaks. you smoke them whenever you want

  • "mayor" Bloomberg, with his fucking GESTAPO tactics, will soon put an end to going to the park or a bench to enjoy a fine cigar. Or cigarette. Bloomberg, you scumbag Nazi, go to hell.

  • So what did this video say? Nothing. Look, to find a cigar you like, your just going to have to start smoking them. If you never smoked before, try a few on the lighter side. Shape is merely for you own gratification. Ring size (gauge) is the thickness, higher = thicker. Name & Price mean nothing, its ultimately your personal taste that makes them good or bad. TAKE OFF THE BAND WHEN YOU SMOKE! In stores DONT touch unwrapped cigars. Most clerks at stores dont know anything but what they read.

  • @00:11 Textbook example of 'Douchebag' smoking style.

  • what is the first cigar they show at 0:31

  • @cbronson224 olde world reserve

  • Comment removed

  • only cuban are cigars

  • naturalcigarlighter.weebly.com Never use butane to light a cigar again

  • Gus and Billy are Arabs....lol

  • Hey Obama, as long you're in charge, PLEASE LIFT THIS FUCKING, STUPID, SILLY EMBARGO IN CUBA so I can buy my Montecristos!!!! ASAP!

  • @conewells Don't worry, I'm sure eventually the ban will lift and a flood of Cubanos will flood the US. Until then we are all rooting for you, sitting back enjoying our finest Havanas.

    Sincerely,

    The rest of the world

  • @conewells Even if they did, the mystique of Cuban cigars being better than whats out on the market now is a complete fantasy. The big name growers are all doing better stuff outside Cuba...You cant turn back the clock and the days of Cuban Cigar Supremacy are long gone...

  • damn i really want to smoke an arturo fuente now

  • @utaman408 Helllllllllll yeahhhhhh

  • what the hell! 0:06 is that a smoke dispenser to get a smell of the cigars????

  • @wally0461 It's for humidity, to keep the cigars fresh.

  • hey i recently tried my first cigar and was wandering if it was any good? it cost £1.50 at mt local car boot sale it was called carlos v, do you think it is any good?

  • this is kindof stupid these people lifes are like based of a stick with tobacco and it totally changes their personality they act like SUPER rich people that sit and drink wine and smoke all day long

  • @skassipodguy exactly, thats the way to live bruh. even if your not rich, its still an awesome lifestyle.

  • I hope to have a walk-in humi like that when I retire :D

  • Ya just can't beat a good Cigar, even with a nice glass of Wine......

  • this is so cool

  • I am new to cigars and I wanted to know if you need a home humidor and what it does

  • @RabidTaxi As a seasoned cigar smoker, my advice is start small find what you like at a local shop and buy a few singles at a time. When starting becoming obsessed, as i did, move on into purchasing a small humidor. Your local cigar shop will help in choosing that with you when you get to it

  • My first two cigars, I inhaled and hacked a lung up. Then i realized you DON"T INHALE.

  • wow. imagine all the people who die from smoking related diseases every year and here there is a shop completely devoted to selling cigars. cigars are as bad, if not worse, than a normal cigarette.

  • @jonanlsh cigars dont cause lung cancer because you dont inhale them. you run a very small risk of getting oral (mouth) cancer. the probability of that happening is slim to none. cigars are so much less harmful than cigarettes.

  • @esco42085 it depends because back when i used to smoke cigarettes i used to not inhale the smoke more than once or twice per cigarettes the rest of the cigarette i would just suck and blow without inhaling. so it depends on what u wanna do because some people do chose to inhale cigars as well

  • @TheEgyptianOne Well you dont know how to smoke or you just dont it properly. I always inhale when I smoke a cigarette like youre supposed too. Ive never puffed a cigarette without inhaling it and Ive never inhaled a cigar purposely. Im pretty sure this goes for most people.

    Learn how to smoke brah.

  • love it guys good work! u make me wana smoke right now ! im a big fan of cigars even if it makes me dizzy some times :) but i do love it and collect it :)

  • i rember my first not a high end it was a swisher sweet grape next was a cuban ( i was at the keys) not that good

  • I first Real cigar was a Cohiba

  • @DarkThumper1128 u suck dick

  • @peepeecannon when they suffer from lung cancer/head cancer/mouth cancer, i'll be laughing somewhere in the world. hell, they rate hundreds of cigars a month.

  • @peepeecannon Cool story bro, do you tell it at parties?

  • @Carsonator95 on occasion after dinner parties i make herbal tea and sit down with friends and family to exchange stories and i am known to reminisce about this event occasionally ........so yes

  • @peepeecannon I reminisce about cocking your mothers ballsack! AHAHAHAHAHAH Fag!!! HAHA

  • @Carsonator95 i was joking dumbass. im 17, why would i talk like that

  • @peepeecannon Cuz your gay.

  • @peepeecannon wich label was it?

  • @peepeecannon wich label was it? im happy that i live in a country where cuban cigars are legal

  • @freshd194

    canada?

  • @Dysusfusion germany

    :)

  • @peepeecannon exactly what shakespeare said upon his first cigar !

  • @peepeecannon how would you know? you dint have anything to compare it to and you probably dint know much

  • @christianz2010 I don't smoke cubans frequently, but I have enjoyed a few , to me.. the taste the same same as everything else, I enjoy Pipes, cigarettes, cigars, and cigarrillos.and I inhale everything in the privacy of my home, And my take is that the cheapest and most popular generally are as good as the high priced top shelf stuff. There is alot of biased smokers who can't enjoy a cigar unless it's cuban or simply for the fact that it is cuban, but to each his own, godspeed red one out!

  • Thanks for the great advice. Helped a lot

  • What does 858 mean? Is it the dimensions? 8 inches by 58 ring gauge?

  • @smartface121

    You're an ass.

  • is it hard running an entire store without a single cuban cigar?

  • @lobzdik they can sell Cubans bought before the embargo, but they're expensive as hell. In all honesty though there are some Dominican or Nicaraguan cigars that are as good or better than Cubans, sometimes you just gotta experiment
