  • Depression Sucks, say Top Docs

  • I know where you coming. When I was young bad things happen in my life and I cried and said why would a good loving God do nothing. I don't know why he allows bad things to happen to people especially when its out of your control but he's with me now and I'm still healing. Jesus Christ was a innocent man, perfect who left the comforts of heaven to walk on earth in order for bad things to happen to him in order to save mankind from their sins.

  • ggrreeeaaatttt, cuz being dumb won't make me more depressed......

  • my brain looks funny

  • this is'nt new, i heard this before

  • That is fascinating!

  • God is real and is his son Jesus Christ is his first born. There is a spiritual monarchy in world that you cannot see. Depression is nothing more than a spirit. God anointed Saul to be King of over his people but Saul disobeyed God and Saul did not want to give up the throne to David which God annointed in secret so God's holy spirit left Saul and God sent an evil spirit which made Saul depressed. That Saul needed young David to play the harp so he can feel better.

  • @vycaso

Don't get me started on Jesus Christ, that clown, that arrogant selfish self centered asshole. He has the power of the cosmos at his fingertips, the ability to end human suffering, and what does he do? He lets a handful of Jews kill him.

Who the hell ASKED to be alive? So God just creates this miserable rotten existence, then sits idly by as immense suffering unfolds? Can't expect any logic from an entity WILLING TO BOIL SOMEONE FOR ETERNITY for what they do in a flash of existence

  • More pills = more money for big pharma.

  • @anatureperson U nailed it :-D

  • The book Spark by Dr. John Ratey is about how aerobic exercise causes neurogenesis, the creation of new brain cells.Exercise might be better than antidepressants.

  • I'm a Christian and have suffered from clinical depression since 1981. I have been hospitalized 3 times and the last one I almost didn't make it. It took 4 things to pull me out. My belief in Christ, my wife, my doctor and the medication. I have been clinically free since 1988! Christ made the last 3 of the 4 possible!

  • @billeybop wait why the fuck are we talkign about religion this video has nothing to do with it

  • @TwofiddyFourstroke My dear friend one who has no belief system has nothing to look for in the face of of evil. The word religion is not Christianity but is the manner one does something repeatedly. I choose to believe.

  • @billeybop LOL

  • @billeybop

How about logic and reason? I can't look at that in the face of evil? How is it logical to be evil? It isn't. That's what evil is, it's illogical chaos, no matter how badly you try to mask it in reason.

What we perceive as evil are always traits that would have been cast out from any group hundreds of thousands of years ago as our species evolved. Survival as species is what's logical, so naturally anything that inhibits that is illogical.

    No need for superstition.

  • @chronDiggity This illness has taken me to places I could only describe as pure evil. I have no other way to explain it! I do know why so many choose death over life in this state of hopelessness!

  • @billeybop

    LOL

  • @chronDiggity Well my friend all I can say a man without beliefs is a man without a soul. You must get outside the realm of what "man" thinks to experience that which man can not explain. Please don't tell me you can or I would have to conclude you to be illogical by your own inferences. :)

  • @billeybop

"You must get outside the realm of what man thinks to experience that which man can not explain. Please don't tell me you can or I would have to conclude you to be illogical"

And yet here you are claiming to have an explanation, for that which cannot be explained.

Do you even comprehend how many years people like you have said that, and how much science has EXPLAINED THOROUGHLY that was once thought to be something that cannot be explained?

    Your explanation:God did it.

    BRILLIANT

  • @chronDiggity First I do not declare to know the answer but based on my life experiences simply believe there're many things that occur with no explanation by mans knowledge of all things If your science is so thorough why do so many seek the answer to this question? I will error on the side of a higher power! I disagree but respect your opinion on this matter!

  • @chronDiggity Just because evil is illogical chaos doesn't mean it can't manipulate reason as well. It's corrupt, chaotic and unbelievably insane at its core, but insanity has never stopped the world's greatest monsters from leaving their mark...evil takes any opportunity to inflict pain and spread hatred; even if it takes decades for its seeds to take root, it will wait patiently...and, actually, when you think about it, evil is too calculating to be illogical. It is VERY intelligent...

  • @Cierrakahana

Oh EVIL is intelligent. WTF are you talking about? What is the overall goal?

At what point can you say the result of evil is logical? That's my point.

  • yeah the part that shrinks is called the give a shit zone

  • the woman getting the MRI had nice titties

  • I love being a Christian and proud of it because the lord got me through depression.

  • @vycaso I'd rather be depressed than be a glazed over religious zombie.

  • @vycaso

Not to sound mean, but what got me through depression was rejecting Christianity.

You see, growing up, the thought of living forever in a heaven filled with the types of people I went to Catholic school with and saw at church actually made me severely depressed. It wasn't until I studied other religions, or theology in general, and viewed Christianity objectively and with scrutiny that I freed myself from the torment. I value life far greater now that I believe it's over when we die.

  • @chronDiggity you are making more depressed and a little scared bc i dont want it to be over when i die i wana see my family again when i die..im not saying i belive in god i dont know ..no1 knows i hope there is a god...

  • @TwofiddyFourstroke Sorry to disappoint, but along with Santa not being real, neither is god.

It's quite liberating once you're comfortable knowing there's nothing after you die.

  • @EMdemo you dont know that ..no1 knows what happens when you die. are you saying you know what is gona happen

  • @TwofiddyFourstroke

Sure, it would be nice to see our family again, but to see them again for eternity?

First of all, we're alive on average what, 80 years? About 40-60 years are with parents and children, longer for siblings... In cosmological terms, in the vastness of time, 60 years isn't even a blink of an eye. It's not even a fraction of the moment it takes for the brain to THINK of blinking said eye, and yet we're to spend all eternity? FUCK. THAT. SHIT. I didn't ask for ANY of this.

  • @TwofiddyFourstroke

oh BTW, there's no evidence of an afterlife so care for your family now. Make every moment count. Don't get sick of them, treat them like shit, and expect that life will just hand you a break from them only to give them back later once you appreciate them.

Even as I speak, I know your belief in an afterlife is still there, but for people like me who have FULLY accepted the probability of a complete end at death, life, family, and time becomes FAR MORE PRECIOUS OF A THING.

  • @chronDiggity I couldn't have said it better myself.

  • @chronDiggity lol i said i dont belive in the afterlife do you have downsyndrome?

  • @TwofiddyFourstroke

Yeah you're definitely a kid to be asking me if I have down syndrome....

  • @chronDiggity yup lol

  • @chronDiggity ALSO i am just a kid so be carefull who you are talking to you will make little kids upset

  • @TwofiddyFourstroke

About as upset as they get when they find out Santa isn't real. Who cares?

  • oh this explains how Obama was elected lmao...shrink American's brains by depressing them until they feel helpless, and....BOOM!!! you get the worst President to ever be in office; that may also be how he might get re-elected--shrinking of American brains! lol...and idk if you can really trust British research cuz they are also the ones who did research and found that Prunes aren't really laxatives lmao yeah, try eatin a lil bowl of Prunes and see how long it takes you to crap yourself :)

  • @vycaso get that christian crap out

  • Depression is negative energy absorbed into the spiritual body which is your true self because the physical body is just a shell. Those who suffer from depression just need to focus on Jesus Christ who is love and peace and have faith because its going to take months or years for depression to flow out of your spirit body through the top of your head so that you may absorb good spiritual energy love, peace and joy. So that you can enjoy life like everyone else.

  • @vycaso

3/10 troll, but if ur for real, then really .... FUCK YOU , god is not real idiot

  • Sure hope this research gets lots of funding. This research can really help to improve people's quality of life. Good stuff here!

  • @uspimpclub Lay off the coffee... and the caps.
