graphics look cool, but all new MMO's will fail unless they come up with a completely new concept that gives back the "Everquest / WoW nostalgia" feeling when you first play.

@Indigozek wow wasn't a "completely new concept" at all. it was pretty much everything other mmos had done thrown together with a few new UI features. if you want the next-gen mmo concept check out Mortal Online.. or Darkfall online but i wouldn't really recommend darkfall.. killing anyone anywhere and the mechanics were nice but it was semi laggy and i don't like how the world feels.

its still a new concept.. a skill based mmo that doesn't hand feed you every step of the way.. most mainstream mmos seem like they try to make it failproof.. i also like how if you miss its because you failed not because a random number generator said you did. and theres no targetting which means no nearest enemy button or auto-target when hit. i'm sure there will be a lot more oblivion-like mmos coming out soon

Oh and I forgot to mention that it is pvp everywhere, with huge batttles, sieges, player controlled empires, make your own religion (the developers will change the world as gods, so praying works. but you could also just be a hermit, or a famous crafter if you wanted... or a fisherman... the choices are endless

The best MMO ever is being made right now. It is proper role playing with player built cities inhabited by players and npc's. It has everything you could want in it, including fps incredibly realistic fighting, no levels and skill based character developement. Its called: Mortal Online

darkfall was a fuck up, lag everywhere, shit graphics, lacks realism, and was based on capturing realms and shit, in this game there are no pre defined realms which are owned, only you and your allies are there to stop other people coming and taking it away. There are more reasons, just go visit the mortal online website and you will see plenty

FFXI don't use the "damn hot key shit". It uses Alt+# and CTRL+# XD which are all macros that you can customize.
