Here's the important point: You are a son or daughter of your own works.
In other words, the Law of Cause and Effect works. Bear this in mind when you are frustrated because you have worked without apparent result. The result is on its way, even if it is not apparent.
Poe's story is especially tragic because of his talent. He invented the detective story. Countless horror movies owe him a debt of creative gratitude.
Sadly, the misuse of Cause and Effect impacts even the gifted.
Earl Nightingale said it best: If you think in positive terms you will get positive results. Earl Nightingale enhanced the lives of millions of people and inspired me to create my motivational website "personal-development-tv (dot) com"
The most accurate and trustworthy depiction of Poe's life and death summed up in 3 minutes...Nightingale was first and foremost a brilliant historian.. in the vein of the master of all historians, Sir Edward Gibbon. insipidjello.
Don't be hatin' on Mr. Nightingale. He's the best.
One of the coolest things about this film is the early 70's decor of his office. This was state-of-the-art-high tech back then. That IBM typewriter he's using is the same one my father bought in 1977 for $800!!! That's was 1977 money! I can only imagine what this thing cost in early 70's. Cool early synth music in the into too. Anyway, Earl Nightingale Rocks and there is nothing this man did that wasn't exemplary. He passed on in 1989.
"this guy".. is Earl Nightingale. One of the world's foremost inspirational/motivational public speakers. His cassettes, records etc. were best sellers for many decades. "this guy"... is useless to those that use less... than they can. Mr. Nightingale and the word: "usleless" would never be paired and it's a disgrace to see it. But very telling, the lil brain that thinks 'useless'...
This is really interesting, but there are so many inaccuracies and outright errors it makes it pretty useless. Fun to watch, though - what a voice on this guy!

Wtf? This was the most random video ever.
I only thought Nightingale did self-improvement, I didn't know he did broadcasts about history.
Because in no way did Edgar Allan Poe tie in to anything..

Nightingale did WHAT he wanted. History was more than likely a passion of his, along with television production.

Most of Earl Nightingale's philosophy came from Napoleon Hill who came well before your conspiracy theory.

I have his tapes. Too bad he went so soon, we need his wisdom. But all of us have a wise idea, we just let it lay dormant.
