I saw this game reviewed on TV. looked like it had potential, but the controls looked like it would suck and who wants to think about how many times they need to hit a button to get off one punch? Analog stick in Fight Night is the best thing to happen to boxing games. Round 4 will make this game look like a DS portable game.
even though 2k makes good sports games, i dont think this one has what it takes to take down fight night....graphics are not so great, presentation and audio commentary look lacking.....we need a real boxing sim but this doesnt look like a real contender....

This looks fine. I for one love the idea of the career mode being like a sports documentary.
I like the little touches: Having robes on, having the ref IN the ring with you, touching gloves before a fight,etc. As good as Fight Night was, it didn't have these. I'm really excited about this one.
the thing is, you shouldn't have to fight more realistically so that the game doesn't look like crap. You should be forced to fight realistically to win...if you can win by constantly throwing 'signature' punches = boo.
It looks like the story mode might be rather strong, too bad the core was horrendous.
