  • the amazing thing is how many different musicians love the who from james taylor to lemmy.

  • roger daltrey was happy to be with all those motown acts since he used to sing alot of motown and james brown during the early years.

  • Found John 4:26

  • Paul Schaefer trying to tell Roger Dalty when come in - give me a break, Wally!

  • Where the heck was John playing from? The coat room? I can hear him but he's nowhere to be seen!!

  • @sbamkmfdmdfmk Classic John, right???

  • That's Dave Davies from the Kinks standing right next to Pete Townshend (he's playing the black Telecaster). It's cool to see them onstage together considering that they were close in the 1960s.

    Who's playing drums?

  • @12toedfeet I think it's Anton Fig. At the end there you see Max Weinberg drumming as well. John looks so badass as opposed to everyone else.

  • WHY DON'T THEY SHOW JOHN AT ALL???

  • @paddy9i99 i kinda wish i was British cause they rock so hard

  • Makes you proud to be British.

    PERIOD.

  • @paddy9i99

Why? What does it have to do with you besides a geographical accident of birth?

  • @camcoop25

Hey, Brad Hillbilly III, the number one redneck in town. MESSAGE:-

    SHUT THE FUCK UP.

  • @paddy9i99

Wow, no wonder you're so proud to be British - you have the national wit.

  • get the random people the hell off the stage and give pete a proper guitar and for gods sake show john aswell!

  • John gets his 1.5 seconds of fame, but he is secure in the knowledge that he is blowing someone else's speakers

  • Who's the guy who kinda looks like John Cleese(only shorte)r on the left who has no idea why he is there, what the song is, what the words are, and what the big kerfluffle(sic) is about

  • THE WHO WILL LIVE FOREVER:-)

  • no, we are not too old to rock and we never will be and the who proves it!!!!!!

  • Pete on accoustic ?

Roger looks great apart from being dressed like Lyle Lovett,>

Some joker on drums and a shitty keyboard sound by Paul Schaffer , and to top it it all off John is not seen next to a bunch of stage gathers who don't give a shit about The WHO....I'm under impressed by the collective tv show direction..ESPECIALLY considering this was a one of the supposedly shining moments in The Who's career.

The rock n roll hall of fame should be embarrassed by this debacle

  • I wouldn't call various other members of the hall of fame 'stage gatherers.'

you can't expect to have a Who concert quality performance. its pretty evocative of most R&R HOF performances. More like a jam session, ala the end of The Last Waltz, then a showcase of the Who's ability to play one of their songs.

and was that max weinberg playing a separate drum set?

  • "I wouldn't call various other members of the hall of fame 'stage gatherers.'

    ____

Well that was easier to post than having to name them all,no disrespect was intended.

  • @TheWholigans

    Ace

    Yes, and very Yes,

Maybe sort of and sort of.

    Hmmmmmmmm

  • i mean 5:25, also they should have stopped it there cause i hears some weird line after

  • 5:30 thats a cool riffs, whats that belong 2

  • who's drumming?

  • Anton Figg. From The Late Night Band.

  • Entwistle appear on 4:26 ,yeah,is Paul Schaffer on keyboards

  • Paul Schaffer (David Letterman's Band Leader) on keyboards?

  • Joooohn!!

    where are you?????????!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where the hell is John?

  • looks like he is in the very back

  • Typical... Even during such a big ceremony like this one, John can be hardly seen!

  • 4:39 - 4:43, Max Weinberg?

  • Sure is.
