You aint on your own!!, I am a UK driver, i filled up on South Mimms services (London) an payed £1.32 a ltr thats £5.28 a gallon, an we have had to put up with this for years! I suppose its scarey for you guys as this has happened quite suddenly! If there is corruption in the trade, you all have to stand together, then this might get sorted, drive safe all of you, Gaz UK

Striking wont work on this hot topic. If it was union and you're being paid to strike that one thing, however not moving loads regardless of the cost means NO money. Most owner operators can't afford a strike. Unfortunately the top chief of our nation needs to apply pressure to reduce our fuel costs. Striking in this industry in these hard economic times won't change anything.

It would wake up the White House. Think of it, EVERYTHING is delivered at some point by truck. If every truck stops, nothing is going anywhere.
