It's "a Lemmon", not a lemon. Lemmon were the manufacturers of methaqualone after Rorer (not "Aurora", which is another typo on all the lyric sites) and before Pfizer/Roerig.
Thanks for posting this! It was one of my favs back in the day... particularly because it is soooo freaking true! 714 would do funny things to people (just put me to sleep).
I've been telling my friends about this song and The Great Conch Train Robbery for 20+ years and have searched for this Album for about 15. I first heard it ironically in Key West & bought the cassette. My all time favorite of Shel's. Thanks for finally ending my quest.
