@mendoza1017 If its made out of two 13b's its 2.6 liter but with the way rotaries operate its closer to being equivalent to 7.8 liter ( 463.78 cubic inches ) if you count how many combustion chambers are present. Some people don't like to think of it that way though since the e shaft makes 3 complete rotations for every 1 complete on a given rotor and displacement is factored on the combustion chamber volume swept by piston engines in one movement from TDC to BDC. I priced motor only at 10-17k

dont get me wrong but 8.22 doesnt seem that fast for a 4 rotor. there is a 2 rotor RX-7 in Puerto Rico that does 6.97. 8.22 is freakin hella fast but i just think that thing has more potential. and yeah i know he couldnt fully get on it all the way.

Very true. The 2.6L 4 rotar can get 600+hp but the only problem with rotars are that its mileage isnt exactly great, and it burns threw oil. Wouldnt stop me from getting one though

A 1.3L 13b turbo can easily make 600Hp as well, its a matter of cost. The 4 rotor is not an engine ever mass produced by mazda, infact you litterally have to make the engine on your own.

On another note, Rotary's all burn oil from factory. Its sprayed on the back of the rotors to keep them cool. With my Rx7 I see about 430km (260miles) per 60L tank and about .5L-1L of oil per tank as well.

weld? you mean bolt. Each rotor has a rotor housing and a mid and back plate on either side. the eccentric shaft is 2 13b shafts combined with a custom piece that runs through the center of them...I forget the name of the piece. Pretty simple, just a bit expensive.
