  • this song was originally in a different key i thinkk....im doing this song for voice lessons and its a whole octave higher. :)

  • @miaroxyoursox123 i don't think an octave higher would be possible, unless you're singing it to this at the wrong octave..

  • Thank you so much for this beautiful instrumental version of a very moving song!

  • The original lyrics in "Carousel" are "keep your chin up high".

    It was later chagned.

  • You are correct, they were changed :]

  • its head.... hahah!! not chin up high...

  • Its head not chin !

  • @RobynM151 No, in Carousel it's originally "keep your chin up high", it has been later chagned to "head up high".

  • the kop sing this the best!

    LIVERPOOLFC,YNWA<3..

  • nice effort, but it's to fast and the ultimate climax with chills and goosebumps doesn't come before the second verse, which is not even there!

also, i think "hold your head" is better ... 3/5

  • @AndreasNV There is no second verse in the show. It is sung again with full cast on stage in the finale though. They used hold your head in the movie but the original script is keep your chin. Very powerful but simple song.

  • i still prefer hold your head up high to keep your chin up high. i've listened to the movie version too much to change. nice karaoke

  • me too:D

  • does anyone have a clip of the second time they sing it in carousel, at the end

  • The Musical is "chin" actually.

  • I thank you so much for sharing this. I've always loved this tune.

  • Is there any way I can download this on to my ipod? Or is it available to buy on itunes?

  • Use DVDVideoSoft Video to MP3 Converter. It's free software, and it works great. :)

They may have a version of it on iTunes...they probably do. Feel free to use that freeware, though.
