Yep, that's what so great about Turkey. :) And turkic people are really something else. A turk is someone from the Republic of Turkey (ie born and raised). Atatürk is one of my idols due to his modern views regarding nationality and ethnicity. The problem now is that because of heavy migration from Turkey you have people all over the world calling themselves turks, which goes against Atatürk's ideals because he never saw turks as an ethnicity. :( Hereby the growth of the euro-turk.
