Awesome. If someone wants to call it cheating, I'll accept that. To me though, it's unfair having a big player sprite with a little mystery hitbox. I actually found myself avoiding EoSD because of this.

@EnigmaGamer The only thing I regret is the awful playing in this video. I made this soon after 1ccing EoSD Normal, so the clips shown for the most part are pretty bad. I also feel bad having done so much video editing just to have Youtube limit the crap out of it and leave it at a bad quality forever.

I don't regret people using the patch, but I do heavily recommend only using it while you're still getting used to your hitbox, and to get rid of it once it's unneeded. I don't use it anymore.

its the area on your character (usually pretty small) that hurts you if it gets hit.. teh bullets have hit boxes to, unless their hitboxes hit your hitbox, then it doesnt do damage

You just downloaded the TL.dat. Download the CM.dat as well, below the one you already downloaded.

Nah, it isn't easier. This just makes the hitbox visible. Otherwise, you just had to remember where the hitbox was.

Nice work with the patch. Personally, I feel that once you've played the other games in the series with the hitbox, you come back to this game with a 'hightened sense' and don't really need it. having said that, I still think your work on this is great.

I don't know if I'm going to use the patch cuz it feels like cheating, but the video showed me where the hitbox is, and I was always unsure. This helps.

It's pretty easy to find anyways. Both Reimu and Marisa have a ribbon on their backs that pretty much shows exactly where the hitbox is.

Even if people disapprove of a 'visible' hitbox, you can still track it fairly easily. It just makes it easier to distinguish, is all.
