lms - I spent a day driving Merddin Emrys earlier this year - the two regulators are separate, and because for a whole load of reasons the response from each end is not identical, the most effective method is actually to treat them individually. There is only one vacuum brake control, though, and this is very nearly the only one you need on the journey back down the hill from Blaenau Ffestiniog.
