They make that sound when their settling down an getting ready to rest or just 'chatting" personally I love it.You have to be a nature person to enjoy it. I have 6 myself and I just love em.he doesnt understand the bird's behavior thats why he's complaining.
I used to want Lovebirds. The yellow with the peach face..
A Mexican neighbor had them on his porch and after hearing them I thought, maybe not.
Best bird I ever had a was a little yellow faced, blue parakeet. He talked and was very friendly. When he'd start to squawk, I'd whistle and it trained him to whistle instead.
i have a lovebird, they only make that noise all th time if you ignore them, i find if you talk to them through the cage they actully quieten down a bit,i allso have budgies and a cockatile i love them all to bits :D if there noise gets to much i sit in the garden with the rabbits for a bit lol
I feel I should mention this. I think if you want a bird, a lovebird is the best choice you can make. All birds make noise because that's how they socialize, and since they THRIVE on socialization, they talk a lot! Lovebirds are very intelligent and extremely loving. The chirping is the ONLY thing anyone could consider an annoyance. Personally, I think their chirping is beautiful. Anyway, consider this when thinking to buy a bird.
