  • Spin "that"reel, babe! ;)

  • Got one of those myself, a very nice model.

  • Very interesting, a battery-operated 7 inch stereo reel-to-reel.

  • I have always wondered about this machine. I sometimes see them on E-Bay. The cloth belt should have a tension idler somewhere. You can usually adjust the tension on the bar that holds the idler so it doesn't push too hard on the belt. Thanks for the video.

  • I've been wanting one of those. I have three Aiwa reelers, , the TP700 (? 7" mono portable), TP714 and TP50. I like the way Aiwa made their stuff. Aiwa also made many look alike (EV Shure Astatic) microphones that were rebadged with store names, like Olson, Lafayette, and I suspect Radio Shack back in the 60s-70s. For imitation mics, I like them. I've seen the Aiwa "pill mic" (GE/RCA copy) sell for over 50$ on ebay. Do you have the mics? This would be kewl for recording sound FX in stereo.

  • Very nice
