For years i was convinced they lived in a vast series of caverns under my captains bunk. On holiday in France in 1987 i worked out how long it would take them to find me. i felt safe for a week, but then i started to be scared of all dogs in case they were wolves in disguise.
@brokenpixel I had the same fear....used to have nightmares about wolves coming out of the TV and up the stairs to get me.....I watched the series recently, and it looks absolutely rubbish, the wolves are barely in it....the scariest thing was the beginning credits, and especially the end credits, when the wolf's face gets bigger as the camera zooms on it...that did bad things to a 5 year old's mind

now see I had the opposite. i loved wolves. had a pretty bad fear of rats when I was little though.
