When someone panics, their heart rate speeds up and is almost un-controlable. However, if that particular person were to keep his heart-rate steady, then the shark would show much less interest. Because when they hunt for food, all their prey doesn't ever panic, because then it would just give more indication of where they are. It be like they're trying to get eaten

There have been 1-2 documented cases of Ocras killing a Great White Shark but that doesn't prove this is what happens in every encounter. Plus nobody knows if the particular White Sharks killed by the Ocras were injured, sick, etc. Some folks love to think Shamu is superior because they're cute but a couple incidents doesn't prove anything really. Plus what's so impressive about a creature 2X larger killing one so small in comparison?

@BlueNeko1 A orca is stronger as a great white, and there is a thing, orca's aren't evil or something, orca's are defensive normally beside when hunting and act pretty much like big dolphins, for example I saw once orca's who played with humans, kind of like dolphins (following around the humans and playing with boats hide and seek and stuff). They are scary, but they are not notorious killers, which is only logical with such a high-evolved brain.

@uUuWolf16uUu Please try to understand what I am saying. There are two different kinds of "killing". All animals but one kill because they are either hungry or because they have instincts that force them to hunt something if it acts a certain way. GWS are like those. It doesn't make them evil but it doesn't make them any less frightening either. Orcas are the only animal aside from humans who will kill another living being for sport because they get a thrill out of it. It's been proven.

@royalsteven If it weren't for the intelligence of orca wales, then Great Whites would be dine on them. And speaking of brains, many scientists are starting to beleive that the Great Whites are starting to become more intelligent. Sharks are not known for attackng in groups. Well get a load of this, their was a pod of humback wales near a coast, then out of no where, a herd of Whites just came out of nowhere and started attacking it individually, taking turns. Just like Killer Wale pods

Hmm that's pretty scary :( Luckily Japanese, Danish and Norwegians don't hunt orca's man. But the bastard still hunt equal intelligent dolphins and whales :( We need to stop them :( Sometimes I even start to think orca's and dolphins are more intelligent than some humans :D There is a video on youtube where orca's practice hunting technique by washing a seal from ice by swimming towards him and creating waves. Than the seal falls in the water but they don't eat him but put him back on the ice!

They have it wrong. Great White Sharks are not only hunted by man. Killer Whales are the only Mammals that will hunt a Shark and eat it.

There have been 1-2 documented cases of Ocras killing a Great White Shark but that doesn't prove this is what happens in every encounter. Plus nobody knows if the particular White Sharks killed by the Ocras were injured, sick, etc. Some folks love to think Shamu is superior because they're cute but a couple incidents doesn't prove anything really. Plus what's so impressive about a creature 2X larger killing one so small in comparison?
