CandyShell iPhone 4 (White)

REVIEW AFTER 4 MONTHS:Sadly I'm now looking for a replacement.The case is excellent for taking knocks & being accessible to the front screen. Bad points are that the headphone jack and charger points are so recessed, that only Apple official products will work without adaptors. The rubber lining around the frame of mine is to peeling off.The thin bridge at the bottom below the home button has cracked and is very flimsy. There are also hairline cracks that have developed by the mute button.

@Jacobstayconnected1 depends. mine has stayed pretty clean. The Satin white will get dirtier easier than the standard CandyShell however.

Does the australian iphone 4 fit this case? I believe australian iphone 4 cases fit at&t cases. Please answer asap. Im looking at buying over the internet and dont want a case that wont fit. Thanks

Does this version of the case have the "pencil eraser " effect as it does on the older versions? I have a 2nd version with the lighter color grey and the outside lip of silicone balls up and flakes off like a pencil eraser if you run your finger along it. I'm hoping this is fixed in these later versions.

Whatever case I buy I always protect my iPhone when not in use by using my handy Golla universal phone/digital camera pouch case. I always used this before I placed it inside my pocket. This protects the iPhone, the screen and the new casing from scratches, moistures, dusts, rain and cold temperatures. This keep my iPhone looks like new.

I like the Candyshell with the white and dark grey rubber on my old iPhone 3GS. The only issue with this, the white plastic is not as strong as the Incase Slider. I find Candyshell is the ideal for everyday protection, but it didn't last very long before you get hairline cracks from edges and plastic gets snap from the bottom case of the dock area (the weakness part of the case).

So I hope this iPhone 4 case improves. I'll order this from today.

i have the old version of this case and the rubber has started to flake like an eraser and i've only had this case for 2 days. i was wondering if the revised cases have the same probelm or if specdk fixed it. also when i try to take off the case it looks like the plastic is coming apart from the rubber :S

It seems like Speck changed the cut-out for the camera hole, so this one looks better, I heard pervious one would affect flash. Is that true?

@metagamers I just got my free case from Apple, the Speck PixelSkin HD. I think I got the revised version because the camera hole is oval and not the key hole, and I remember from one of your previous videos that you don't recommend the revised version. How would I go on about replacing with the old PixelSkin HD? Haven't opened yet, so hopefully I can get it replaced.
