So? Its an ugly small piece of crap with an antique OHV engine. They offer bad safety and even used cars are still overpriced. Power output stands in no relation to fuel consumption. Our volvo 740 turbo (185 hp from 2.3) is capable of doing 8-9 l/100km and 0-100 in about 7-8 seconds and a maximum speed of about 250km/h

Also, used 740s are cheaper than used twingos. I'd say they are even worse than a Dacia Logan which comes from renault too

Alright, i can't say you're wrong.

Head gaskets and the ignition system ist typical to brake down for the first generation "Phase 1". They had a mechanical distributor(which of course had to be replaced) a timing chain (what shall be a plus..) and cylinder sleeves.

And the other things.. I don't know. My mother's twingo is 12 now, mine is 8. No rust, no heavy breakdown yet. I think it depends on how you care about your car.

oui le "complexe" des possesseurs hommes de twingo est dû au positionnement féminin de la voiture.

J'ai aussi une twingo et au début j'en étais pas trop content,mais finalement j'en suis assez satisfait depuis que je sais que je bouffe n'importe quel kéké en 206^^ :D

Hey there! I drive sometimes my mom's twingo... and in order to tell the truth the car is not as bad as i thought it would be. For its engine and size it drives well, and with some mods i would enjoy it even more!;)

answer is simple, easy; firstly, i wanted to schow than twingo is a really car same she's seems like a frogs with wheels, in opposite of a smart who aren't a true car for me just a "voiturette" , little car without drive license, for me!; twingo has good acceleration(0-60mph in 11sec); secondly, the sound of the motors is interesting, because he has a sport sound; it's in opposotion at the look of big play of twingo who doesn't let suppose this mecanic sensation, in fact!
