Bronies, generally, have an understanding that our maxim about "love and tolerance" is part of our subculture as bronies... the EXACT OPPOSITE in diction. This video is meant to respread the message crying out for world harmony by Charlie Chaplin in a format that appeals to bronies from the outset. Not everyone among us is a fan of old, classic, black and white cinema.

Really, though, the core messages of both are the same. Besides, the show itself has explicit references to much older material, such as I Love Lucy, Gunsmoke, and the old King Kong movie. Such things are tributes and are meant as homages to the original material.
