that's why we have razor sharp claws like bears (omnivores), and an extremely destructive jaw. we are nothing compared to true omnivores, how do you expect we get meat in the wild, beyond using tools? tools are a weak excuse to eat meat.. all animals have within their bodies all the anatomical tools they need. the only meat our closest relatives, the primates eat, are insects (as did we years ago). Otherwise 99% herbivore. Think about it. Meat is a cultural food that is killing us.
We do not need to have claws, powerful jaws, etc. We have developed long distance stamina and immense brain power for hunting. Our bodies are perfectly designed to consume animal flesh and infact, we thrive on it when it is balanced with fruits and vegetables. Meat in and of itself is not unhealthy. It is the increased hormones in factory farmed meat and glutony and the sedentary nature of modern society that is a detriment to health.
lifestyle is one of the risk factor in cancer.. we better eat right and nutritious foods.
