The person it is could either be the prophet (pbuh) or Allah, but I think it was the prophet (pbuh.) Even though we don't talk about Allah's face, a hadith says that the curtains will be opened and the chorus of the women in Jannah will sing and you may see Allah IF you have neve rlistened to music. Once, Prophet Musa (pbuh) asked Allah for him to see Allah and then Allah denied but since Musa still asked, he showed his reflection on the face of a mountain and once Musa saw, he had fainted.

It isn't music the only instrument in Islam that is halal is the tongo or Drum they used to beat drum's when the prophet salilahu allahi wasalam used to come to their town. Drums are not haram =P nice talking with you akhi.
