All their albums are great, but do yourself the favor of checking out the first 5 albums, it will blow you away and give you a glimpse of why and how they sound as they do today!! Discovering Murmur in what seems a lifetime ago was one of the most cherished memories I have, song after song of the most beautiful music, dark intriguing lyrics, you got it made!! :)
Pure Pop brilliance! No one these days can touch classic R.E.M., IMO.
